Overview

A small-bodied shad profile crankbait designed for high-pressure fisheries, the OSP Blitz EX DR Crankbait was born out of necessity to reach mid-range depths that typically offer stable water temperatures and an abundance of baitfish. Built using a super long bill that reaches 12-15ft depths smoothly, the elongated lip offers light reeling resistance and excellent snagless ability, as the distance between the tip of the bill and the hook makes it difficult to get caught in underwater structures.

By adopting a special honeycomb structure that’s strong and lightweight, the OSP Blitz EX DR is 40% thicker than standard Blitz bodies to centralize the gravity-to-weight ratio and create a natural swim that exceeds conventional plastic lures. Arguably one of the most coveted crankbaits coming out of Japan, the OSP Blitz EX DR Crankbait leverages a semi-flat body to increase vibration and flashing that appeals not only to the eye but the lateral line of fish.

Would Recommend
Only surpassed by its bigger brotherI choose these over the Blitz Max Dr’s when I want a rattling sound. Otherwise they are really similar to its perfection except for less casting distances and slightly reduced running depths. All of the Blitz DR crankbaits with the flattened bill fronts grind into rounded fronts after moderate use in rocks. This doesn’t seem to make them more snag prone or get bit less. It’s debatable whether the OSP Blitz DR series is sporting in quality smallmouth waters. I recently went behind tournament anglers who I didn’t see fight any fish off the nice point. In three casts, two fish averaging about 3 1/4 pounds were landed. Hearing their jovial, but filled with self doubt, reaction was funny. Guys, there’s more to bass fishing than small, soft plastic minnows and the fish you can see on your screens.

Best 13-15ft Med-Deep Crank... PeriodNot sure what else to say other than I've fell in love with 99.9% of the OSP Blitz line of cranks! Only downfall is the price but for the best JDM crankbaits on the market, ill deal with it! Makes sure and grab a solid lure retriever so you're not crying everytime a 25$ bill gets hung up! It's such a different profile than every other deep crank like 6-10XD's, MB DeepX 200-300's, TB DD75's, Norman's & Rapala DT15+, etc! They use their OWN blanks so the scale patterns on the side are phenomenal, the paint/clear coat is insane, but best of all, the action and size! It's not your normal big deep crank, it's a slimmed down profile, has a normal to semi tight wobble, deflects off cover amazing, but when the fish have seen everything and aren't biting a 3in+ deep crank, these blitz cranks are perfect! ALL of them!
