Okuma Tournament Concept TCS "a" Spinning Rods
Overview
Sacrificing nothing in form, function, and value, the Okuma Tournament Concept TCS “a” Spinning Rods are redesigned from the original TCS series of rods to give avid tournament anglers the edge they deserve. Developed to handle any spinning rod application for bass fishing, the Okuma Tournament Concept TCS “a” Spinning Rods are built with a durable 30-ton carbon blank construction that is extremely lightweight and provides incredible sensitivity that will give you a leg up on the competition. They also feature a carbon fiber over wrap on the lower section of the rod, which provides added strength when the rod is under load for battling large check-cashing sized bass.
Taking it a step further, the Okuma Tournament Concept TCS “a” Spinning Rods also feature upgraded Fuji K-Concept guide frames and Fuji Faz-light guide inserts that reduce wind knots, increase sensitivity, and offer enhanced durability for braided lines. A new C-40X carbon fiber skeleton reel seat and a screw down foregrip also allows the reel to sit in your hand more naturally and eliminate contact with seat threads for all day casting comfort. Finished with a contoured EVA/compressed cork split grip, Okuma Tournament Concept TCS “a” Spinning Rods deliver tour-level performance that will help you cash more checks.

Comments: AWESOME spinning rod. Never leave home without it. I have had the 7'2ML drop shot rod twice now and broken this rod twice but it was my own fault both times. Originally I had bought the first Scott Martin series rod and it held up perfectly on everything from crappie to bass and even striper for a year but then the tip snapped inside the rod sock loading it in the car. Second time was the newer version and that one held up even better until another accident happened. Overall however, it's incredibly light and sensitive, long casting, can really take a beating without losing any guide inserts or having any issues with function. Handles big fish well and really absorbs shock well. My 3rd one is arriving in the mail today!

Comments: Had the Scott Martin version of this rod before hand and the hand the grip was better on Scott's but not a bad rod. My go to for finesse rig set ups. Very sensitive rod with good action and on light line easy to work them in. The bait keeper is in the perfect spot and the rod over al is of great quality.

Comments: I bought the 7' Med+ to use for drop-shot/finesse tactics (labeled Shakey-head). The rod is incredible. Super lightweight with enough durability to boat flip bass of most sizes. Another great thing about the rod is how sensitive it is. Really helps you feel those finicky bass. 11/10 recommend
