Comments: This is a fantastic travel rod. I bought the ML and have used it for throwing drop shots, split shotting, and small finesse swimbaits up to 1/4 oz and it fishes great. It feels balanced and the action is crisp and clean for a multi piece rod. The build seems pretty nice with a unique reel seat that felt weird until I put a reel on the rod and then it felt great. The stripping guides are high profile forward swept "style" guides and the guides in the top section are small low profile guides that border on "micro guides" I have had no trouble with casting or wind knots using straight 6# mono or braid/Fluro topshots. The case feels a bit bulky for what it is but seems to protect the rod ok. The high frame stripping guides make it difficult to find a traditional tube style case. At $200 it isn't cheap for a back up / just in case rod but it is a quality rod worth the money in my opinion. I just ordered a M power casting and will review that after I fish it a bit.

Comments: I have had this rod for awhile now and have caught some nice fish on it. I have the 7'2" medium light and it is awesome! it has dots on all the pieces to help line up the guides as you put it together. You need to make sure you put it together nice and tight or the pieces can spin a little but once you get it tight it is good. Ive been throwing finesse swimbaits on it with 10lb braid to 8lb leader and it is fantastic! very sensitive for a 4 piece rod. The rod has great action with NO DEAD SPOTS! The rod is very attractive stylistically as well. I have left the rod put together as I am not traveling at the moment but I cannot wait to Fly to TN and catch some big smallies on it and test out the travel bag. Speaking of the bag, it is nice. The bag has velcro straps inside to keep and pieces of the rod separate during travel. The only downside is a wish I could store a reel in the bag as well without risk of hurting the rod. All in all happy with the purcha se planning on buying a couple more.
