Supper snaggyI thought the shape would help avoid snags. I was extremely wrong. In my actual use these weights snagged immediately and didn’t often release, regardless of boat position. I found they snagged much worse than three other types of weights in both casting and vertical drop shotting.
My fishing buddies often lament that I don’t get snagged nearly as much as they do (with enough walleye, smallmouth, lingcod, rockfish, cabezon angling you get better at fishing the top and just above the rocks rather than in them). These were snagging on immediate contact, though. Owner makes a lot of truly five star products so maybe they sit near a lake with different shaped rocks. I wouldn’t fish these again if they were free, but I readily use other Owner products.
