As AdvertisedBest drop shot hooks I've used. Sticky sharp and despite the thin wire very strong.

Comments: Absolutely the best hooks you can use, I've tried the gammies mustad and trokar and have lost fish never really thought your hook would matter this much. As soon as I switched I have lost 2 fish out of hundreds, one I broke off and the other idk. Only problem is setting the hook you do not need to set the hook these are sharp enough for you to lean into a fish and get em.

Comments: Haven't used these yet but wanted to comment on the size. I got the 1/0 size and, for me, they look small. I tend to use a bigger hook when drop shot fishing with a great hookup ratio. Not sure how good the hookup ratio is with this smaller (1/0) hook but, make sure you get a chance to see these first if you can. If not, go with the bigger size.

Comments: Excellent hooks!! I use for drop shotting for LM. Mostly with 8lb Fluro but also have used with 4-10lb. I have had no issues with hooks bending out or fishing throwing these. I also use Cover Shot for weedless presentations but I've learned how to make these hooks just as weedless with better hook up ratios and it keeps them pinned. I use 1/0 mostly, size 1 probably wouldn't bad either. Haven't tried any size smaller yet. I highly recommend. Oh and get the 40 pack, might as well because you'll come back for more. Good Luck Fishing!

Comments: Great drop shot hook. Will stick in your fingers so sharp. These do bend out a little after a lot of fish, nothing bending them back cant fix though. Over-all great hook!

Comments: Have been using these for a while and can say that they're pretty great. I use size 1 for my dropshots and stick the vast majority of my fish pretty well with them.

Comments: tried these after all the good reviews, what a disappointment. average hook up ration, but these hooks bend out of shape all the time even on smaller fish. lost too many fish on these, so back to the regular one

Comments: I've been using the Owner Mosquito hooks for several years now as they are always available.  I've never had a hook bend fishing them on my finesse set ups with 6lb/8lb flouro.  I've found the #4 hooks to be perfect for roboworms and other similar plastics where a #2 or #1 hook seem to be unecessarily big. If you are throwing a drop shad or thicker bodied plastic definitely go for a #1 hook.

Comments: I want to love these hooks and they were highly recommended by tacticalbassin.  They are extremely sharp which is a when and seem to penetrate well.  However, in fishing a highland reservoir and dropshotting in and around brush I get hung up quite a bit and have to back my way out of it.  I think this causes some bending in the hook (speculation on my part here) that weakens it.  I have broke several of the hooks off on big fish which has been very disappointing.  And yes, I did check my drag on my Stradic Ci4 and it was fine, plus I was fishing a poison Adrena medium light so there was nice give in the rod.  Also, seem to lose quite a few fish at the boat which has also been a frustration.  Going to give the Gamakatsu DS/SS hooks a try as it has good reviews and appears to be a bit stronger and heavier.

From: Greg: AZ 3/9/21

Comments: I have tried many DS hooks and for smaller baits like 2 to 4 inch baits these are very hard to beat.  The diameter is super thin, but if you have your drag set like you should it will be fine. The penetration is great and they stick the fish right where they should.  I am a fan of the standard gami drop shots they work great also but I think I like the penetration on these hooks better. The standard mosquito hooks aren't bad but on ML gear I don't get a great hookset all the time and if you are looking to try these the sizes run smaller in the mosquito light.  Compared to gami split/drop shot they are a hair bigger but almost the same. I recommend using from size 4 to 1/0 and that will cover anything you want to throw on these

Comments: These hooks are awesome!  Bass pro has red ones, I've gone through several packs; they are perfect for dropshot and VERY finesse wacky rigs. I've caught bass, trout & bluegill in these hooks. I always get size 8.
overall these are GREAT hooks, highly recommend.
