Designed for tiny and compact bait finesse hard baits in need of small replacement treble hooks, the Owner ST-26 Treble Hook features a light wire construction that does not affect bait action and maintains enough strength to land large fish. Featuring a forged oval eye construction and Owner’s Super Needle Point technology for rapid point penetration, the ST-26 treble hooks are built with a round wide-gap bend that provides plenty of room for excellent hooking efficiency. The lightest treble hook offering currently available from Owner Hooks, the Owner ST-26 Treble Hook is finished with a black chrome finish that makes it ideal for use in fresh environments.

Great Hooks But FragileI bought these in a size 10 to use for small jerkbaits, mostly trout fishing where I had hook up issues with the st-36 on finicky fish. I have yet to miss a fish on them, they're stupid sharp and take nothing to get into a fish. The downside is they bend incredibly easy. This isn't really a knock on the hooks, it's the trade off of them being so easy to set.
I think the biggest purpose of these hooks would be situations where you need something even stickier than a st-36. If fish are eating lures well then the st-36 holds up better, but when you have finicky bites the 26 can't be beaten.
Perfect replacement for vision 100 jr’sWe all love the Megabass Vision 110 +1 jr’s but it can be tough to find the right replacement hooks. I tried some regular number 8 round bend Gamakatsu’s and they made the bait sink. These ST26’s, however, have a very fine wire and are sticky sharp AND let the jerkbait suspend perfectly. Gotta keep these on deck.
