Overview
Designed by Major League Fishing pro and 2019 Forrest Wood Cup Champion, Bryan Thrift, the P-Line High Performance Copolymer Topwater Line is the exact line that Bryan used to secure his victory at the Forrest Wood Cup and credited the line in helping him make long precision casts to schooling fish. Formulated to have low memory and suppleness while maintaining high abrasion resistance and knot strength, the P-Line High Performance Copolymer Topwater Line effortlessly flies off the spool for increased casting distance to give anglers the advantage when throwing their favorite topwater bait. It is also engineered to provide high buoyancy, which keeps your bait from swimming below the surface to maintain a proper topwater presentation when making long casts. The low memory makes it lay flat on the surface and allows anglers to easily walk-the-dog, twitch, or crawl topwater lures across the surface with a lifelike action as well. Offered in a range of sizes, the P-Line High Performance Copolymer Topwater Line is the perfect line for throwing any topwater lure.

Comments: The best topwater line I ever used Very smooth low memory and casts a mile. I have No issue with this line. I use 10 and 12 lb for walk the dog and wakebait. I highly recommend it.

Comments: I just used it for Frog Fishing around a rice Field on a lake in Minnesota. It cast extremely well and I was able to work the lure very well and when it was time to set the hook it preformed well. I am going to continue to using it here at home and I am sure it will be a line I use in the future.

Comments: Great topwater fishing line a solid alternative to mono or fluorcarbon. It is very supple has very little memory and has performed well for popper and wakebait fishing. No issues with line breakage as others have stated. Time will tell on overall durability.

Comments: Best topwater line I've ever used. Less stretch than mono, more than fuoro. Perfect for throwing treble hooks. I also use it for crankbaits. A lot cheaper that fluoroocarbon lines.

Comments: This line is junk...broke off a 4lb and two 3lbers in a tournament...I then switched over to hybrid and never had an issue... thanks pline.

Comments: Seems to work good for topwater. Haven't had any break-offs or other line issues. I haven't caught anything of substantial size yet to truly test the strength.

Comments: Very smooth and casts great. Price right too !!! Use 15 lb on smaller top water and 17 lb for larger ones. Also use it on cranking square bills up in the shallows. Works great for that as well.

Comments: I love fishing topwater lures. Who doesn't? When I needed new line for my topwater lure setup I found this. Read about it. Sounded good. So I picked up some. Put it on my reel. The very next day I went fishing. Just overnight it already had horrible memory. I went and bought a line conditioner and it made it slightly better. But it quickly got bad again. In the description, it says "it's extremely supple and has very low memory, it lays flat on the surface". BULL!!! I took it off and put on some Stren mono. Barely any memory. And a lot cheaper. Some time passed and I thought. Maybe I should give it another chance. Since it came with 300 yards I could re-spool my reel with fresh line. And again bad memory came quickly. And it says it is supple. Really? I Have used P-Line Flouroclear. And that has low memory and is supple. I will not be buying this line again. I will stay with my trusted Stren Mono. I have used it for 45 years and it has never let me down . I have read a lot of good reviews. Maybe I got a bad batch. Because those saying it is great with very little memory ect was not my experience.

Comments: I used Pline several years ago was not overly impressed. I had a good friend suggest I try the new top water PLine I have been very pleasantly surprised with the quality, cast ability and abrasion resistance. I highly recommend it.

Comments: I purchased P-Line High Performance Copolymer Topwater Line for the first time in the fall of 2021. I have used 17 pound test for large topwater walking baits only and I have been very satisfied with this line and have not had any issues with line memory or breaking. I have continued to purchase this line and will continue to use it. I would recommend it.

Comments: Good topwater line. Cast's great and very little memory. But just like ANY line, if knicked or kinked it will break.
From: Dino : Las Vegas 10/1/22
Comments: Not a fan, maybe I got an off spool. So many great reviews so I took a gamble and bought 2 spools 17lb . Line scuffs up easily and will break off on you.

Comments: I'm a big fan of almost every P-Line product so was very excited to put this stuff through the ringer. Strength is amazing and casts like a dream. 27 7/8 inch bruiser of a redfish was no match for the 12 lb. test. Bombing a She Dog almost to the spool on my Lews Custom Inshore and had no issue hooking up on nice trout at 100+ ft. My knot (Rapala Knot) held up through every fish so very happy with knot strength.

Comments: The perfect topwater line. Handles and casts very well and controlled stretch and toughness make working a topwater of any kind a breeze.

From: Unknown: 7/6/22
Comments: I've been using braid and mono on my top water but decided to give this line a try. Glad I did. It's really a good line. I've used 17 and 20 and both perform as advertised. Best casting line I've used, very long cast!!
From: Danny: Versailles Ky 6/26/22
Comments: Cast's a mile. Very buoyant. Not to bad on memory. Just like any line, if nicked or kinked will break.
From: Dino: Las Vegas 6/5/22
Comments: Exceptional line, abrasion resistance is excellent, highly recommend
From: Mike: Lawrenceburg, KY 5/24/22

Comments: P Line Topwater line does an exceptional job. As good of a casting line as I've ever used. Fishing it daily for a month, it has held up well. Highly recommend..
From: Unknown: Alabama 10/31/21
Comments: Been using 17# for a month now. Cast great, strong and pliable. Have noticed some memory but nothing like CXX. Bought two more spools. Will continue using on my topwater rigs.
From: Unknown: 9/17/21
Comments: Impressed with the small diameter getting extra distance! Horny toad fishing it held up good considering you have to set the hook! As always with any line you have to cut out the business end of the line or you will go home leaving with I wonder how big she was! I would recommend it.
From: Tom: Dallas, GA 8/31/21
Comments: Shows some memory, very strong and makes long casts easy. When throwing prop baits have to cut a few feet off every once in a while. The best top water line I have found by far!
From: Unknown 8/25/21
Comments: Excellent cast ability. 17lb with your favorite buzz bait and your good to go !!! Highly recommend
From: Brian: Monteicello, IN 8/12/12
Comments: Great line. Feels like fluoro, casts like mono, floats like braid...but its a Copolymer. Crazy good on the poppers and walking baits I was using.
From: JP: Baltimore, MD 8/11/21
Comments: Picked up two spools. 12 (Walking bait) and 20 (2.5 OZ Rat). The line comes off the reel clean. I have had it now for 2 weeks and I fish 3-4 days a week. Line is still viable and clean / smooth. Stretch is perfectly suited to allow the buffer of natural reaction time and not pull hooks. Good Job P-Line! I'd recommend!
From: Ben: Jasper, TN 8/11/21
Comments: I swear by p-line I have yet to have any breaks or knots let loose but this new top water line is by far the best I have ever bought and used it has great buoyancy and make walking a dog or frog that much better great stuff !
From: Logan: Canton, NC 8/9/21
Comments: I love this new P-line topwater, because the diameter to strength is unreal.
From: Ed: Unknown 7/4/21
Comments: The P-Line topwater Fishing Line was just what I was looking for. I did not use it for topwater bass lures. I fish with sliding corks aver brush piles a lot for crappie. I use a braided line with a leader. All the other leader lines that I used sank quickly. When I would go to reel the line in it would pull the cork down because it had sank. This would, most of the time, cause me to get hung up in the brush pile because it would drag the cork and the rest of the rig down into the brush pile. With this new P-Line the sliding cork will now pull the jig straight up and mostly avoid any hang ups and having to retie the rig most of the time.

Comments: This line has been great this far! It floats really well and does not affect the action of your top water baits. I have used the 10 and 15lb. Give it a try!
From: Brandon: East, TN 3/15/21
Comments: Superior topwater line. Performs as advertised. Highly recommend.
From: John: Fort Knox, KY 3/2/21
Comments: Disclaimer, I have not fished the line yet but.. it seems very supple, limp and minimal stretch. Very smooth as well if you run your fingers over it. I plan on using the line in about 8 foot increments as leader material for Skimmers, poppers, and spooks in the Ca Delta.
From: Nate: 1/9/21
Comments: Gave the p-line copolymer 17#a try - spooled onto my top water set up. Mostly ok in the first few casts, but the I noticed that the line (in the first 12 feet) developed knicks.Finishing off a single 8 hour fishing trip you can definitely see the memory in the line. One star *

Comments: I've been using P line for a lot of years and this new top waterline is awesome I can pull 678 pound bass with the line up onto the boat haven't snapped a line yet cast far I will be buying more of this line for sure
From: Jay: Phoenix 11/8/20
Comments:I purchased the the 15 lbs. Landed over ten fish between striped bass and bass and no issues yet. Very strong.
From: William: Elk Grove, CA 10/28/20
Comments: Try it. From first cast you notice it. Casts great. Loop knot and go. Great product. Strong. Limp.
From: Dan: Frazier 10/25/20
Comments:This is by far the best there is out there for all mono line or top water usage i recommend to all anglers that is still in the market of finding the right line here it is P Line Copolymer top water... Also keep in mind it's not just for top water usage only it could be applied and for any usage..good luck out there.

Comments:great line for top water lures, highly recommended
From: Carl - Montgomery, AL 10/18/20
Comments:I recently purchased the 12lb. I love that its made specifically for topwater fishing. This line is really smooth casting. Super durable. My son and I caught close to 50 fish on it our first outing. No issues with line breaking off on any. Id highly recommend this product.
From: Jason - Phoenix, AZ 10/03/20
Comments:I can only comment on the 25lb line. Been throwing big wake baits and it's been phenomenal. Really smooth casting and strong line. I do have to re spool every few outings but the line is inexpensive and I like not having to mess around with leaders on my big expensive baits. Also handled the megabass megadog extremely well.
From: Ben: Reston 8/6/20
Comments:My first question was will this line float since it's a copolymer. It does, very well!I am pleased thus far. Line lays very well on the spool and, so far, has exhibited no memory.
From:Rick: Shuqualak, MS 7/11/20
Comments:Super low memory - outstanding in that category cant tell the difference when it comes to buoyancy vs mono .. but that lack of memory is outstanding .. def my new top water line.
From:Dean: Las Vegas, NV 6/26/20
Comments: I have been looking for a replacement for the now extinct Silver Thread AN40. I have found it. Cast great, low memory, and very slick. It will now become my main line when not using braid.
From: John: Flowery Branch 6/11/20
Comments: Great line - does everything well as they advertised- low memory - very buoyant - does cast further then mono - holds a knot / cinches a knot very well - abrasions resistance also high marks. I foresee this line being very popular and being around for years to come.
