Proudly manufactured in the USA, the Phenix Virtus Red Diamond Urchin Series Casting Rods are carefully designed to help you fish various urchin-style baits with maximum effectiveness. Built using premium Toray GFR40T carbon fiber, the Virtus Urchin Rods deliver impressive balance, strength, and the crisp sensitivity required to detect light bites at long distances. Specialized tapers and powers also make it easier to manipulate your urchin bait with greater precision while providing stout hooksetting power, leading to more hookups and more landed fish.

The Virtus Urchin Rods come topped with Fuji Alconite guides that allow unhindered line flow so you can make accurate and efficient casts both near and far. Supplying a high level of comfort to match the extreme performance, the rods also include ultra-clean cork split grips and ergonomic SeaGuide reel seats adorned with smooth carbon-fiber hood assemblies that lend an attractive modern aesthetic. The perfect rods for urchin-fishing enthusiasts, the Phenix Virtus Red Diamond Urchin Series Casting Rods bring technique-specific refinement to one of the hottest baits to ever hit the bass-fishing scene.
