Comments: I have to laugh when I read some of these negative reviews, and I got no dog in the race. I've been using these boxes for several years now, like 7 or 8 of them, and have NEVER had an issue with the hinges. So, maybe instead of being angry, approach the Company, and explain to them what is going on with the box(es) you purchased. Perhaps you happened to be a victim of a poor run, where something was out of spec, making the hinges not perform as they should, and normally do. Are Plano boxes always perfect? No, they're not. But I've bought/tried some of the competition's products and always ran back to Plano.

Comments: Great boxes American made boxes. No open/close issues at all. Don't believe what others say.

Comments: I can't believe Plano would put their name on this junk. This bin is so flimsy the hinge comes off every time you open the lid. Do NOT waste your money on this.
