Comments: Nice line. Casts are great and very quiet. However, the braid to leader knot that is rock solid on the basic line (8-9 wrap Alberto if you must ask) does not hold nearly as well with this one, and that does not work for me.

Comments: I have used this line exclusively on my spinning reels for a few years now. Color (moonshine) has started to fade after 3 seasons but has stayed soft and still casts great. Haven't had any serious issues with knots or breakoffs. Will continue to buy the super slick for as long as it is available to me.

Comments: Used this line for the first time last under a small black light on a very dark night. I had 30lb main line tied to a leader line of fc sniper fluorocarbon. Casted great on all my reels including my spinning reels which had 20lb on them. Caught several 3-4lb smallmouth and a lot of trees but the line held up great. Under the black light it was fully visible and did not fade. I was skeptical after reading some of these reviews but my personal experience was great, I highly recommend and will be a future customer

Comments: I love Power Pro and I was pumped to finally see TW have this line since i have been trying to get some all summer and locally not one place has it and couldn't find it online for reasonable price. Well last night (Even though it was a 120 yesterday in AZ) I went night fishing. First off the line is crazy smooth and cast / pitches like a dream. But that's were the positives end. Under the black light unless your going to fish vertical you cant see the line. Compared to every other black light compatible line Moonshine dont shine. Maybe out a foot thats it. My other lines i can see 30-50 yards. So that was an initial bummer. Then i got my first and second bite. Broke off setting the hook on both. Thought maybe it was new beads i purchased that were made for tungsten weight. (3/8 fyi). So removed bead and decided to tie double Palomar so i had 4 wraps instead of 2. Next bite i landed. Small fish. Next bite a big bass. Broke me off at knot. To make a long story short I land one other small fish and broke off, at the knot 15 times on fish. So finally scrapped it cause i was done with that. Shocked PP put something out like this. Wont discourage me from there normal braid but trust me anglers Im out $50 on the line and 70 in tungsten. Stay away. Very bummed. Was excited to have a night braid. Hopefully they address this issue.

Comments: Decent braid but much thicker in diameter compared to other braids. 15lb is thicker than most other brands 20lb.

Comments: I bought two spools of super8slick moonshine. One 8lb for spinning and 30lb for baitcasting. I was disappointed in both spools. The line is only coated with a powder to show up under a black light. After three trips the line faded and then had to reverse the line on the spool to show up under the black light. Power Pro needs their pro staff to step up and give the consumer valued information.

Comments: I reviewed this previously but I had the opportunity to fish this line ALOT over a weekend with weighted wacky hooks and shakey heads. It ...... was ...... AWESOME!!!!. This line is incredible, even tied directly to and with a 12lb flouro leader. I am very impressed. I did notice that it dies discolour after a few hours out in the sun but it is great line. I would definitely recommend the 30lb for finesse fishing with a fluro leader.

Comments: Save your money!!! I was so excited to have this line come out. To have braided line that would glow with a black light was going to be great, such a disappointment. First of all it doesn't glow near as far out as mono fluorescent lines & it is just a coating that's rubs off!!!! Yep my yellow hi vis line was white in no time. Big let down....

Comments: I was not a fan of the original Power Pro Slick. I had a 30lb spool that would break off with any degree of tension... so I went back to the original Power Pro. I thought that I would give the PP Slick V2 a try. Well .... needless to say ... well done Power Pro. Casts super easy, and quiet ... and by quiet I am referring to being compared to the original Power Pro. I am very impressed with the V2. Great knot strength and easy to tie on a leader. You must use a line conditioner though. After every time outside, I use line conditioner once I get back home.\
