Do not use this product on anything black.I would not use this product on anything black. It turned the black finish to a dull milky color. The streaks were almost impossible to remove. It took several applications of wax to turn my motor cover black again.

Comments: This is a great product! I have spent hours trying to clean water spots off of my engine cowling and trim on my boat. I fish Possum Kingdom Lake and the water spots are very hard to remove. I ordered the Pro-Tec cleaner and it now takes less than 5 minutes to remove the spots from the same areas. I literally spray on and wipe the spots away! I am highly impressed with this product.

Comments: This stuff is really good! Sometimes I use it alone and other times I use it one of two ways. One way is to use it alone and follow up with Aero Cosmetic's "Wash and Wax All". Another way is to soak the areas of the boat that are spotted, then follow up with a foam cannon spiked with Starbrite boat wash and work with a brush a little and wash off and follow up with the aero Cosmetics on a micro fiber. I have a Ranger RT198 with urethane paint.

Comments: This stuff is the real deal! I tried everything from vinegar to toilet bowl cleaner to get water spots off my motor with no luck. This stuff took them right off, and you don't have to wear a gas mask or gloves to use it!!

Comments: Works great on water spots on the motor cowling. If you have really heavy spots like I did, it takes a few applications. For some of the more stubborn spots, a magic eraser will help speed the process, but for the most part all you need to do is spray on, wait a minute or two & wipe off with a towel.
