Plastic breaksI got about 2 tournaments under my belt with these before the plastic started breaking making this product a waste of money. Design is good but material is poor. Even being tucked away and out of the sun/uv rays. Don’t buy.

Not a bad budget cull clip setSo purchased these end of last year, used entire year without issues. Now read reviews so kept them out of the live well as so the plastic clip doesn't get brittle. They hold the fish, Yes a few have came free but 98% have not. Floats do come loose their foam. So a dab of superglue and good as new. Proper care of these and you'll be fine. If not they probably will fail you like anything you don't take care of. Are there better ones, yes. But for a budget no puncher cull clip set I would say 3.5 out of 5.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEYGot these thinking it would be a great purchase. Lasted maybe 3 trips. First they don't stay on and fish shake them off really easy. Second the clips break. Third numbers on floats are a little hard to see. Overall cheap product DO NOT waste your money. Better product out there.

No..Clips will not remain on the fish. Floats pull through. Good for co-angler to use.

Comments: They are junk. The break way to easy only have 4 left and dont even have half a season on them yet. Rapala needs to do better on these.

From: glenn: wellsville ny 8/7/23

Comments: Well ive been using these for a couple of years now the only time theyve broke is when I stepped on them. I clip them dead center of the bottom lip and never had one come off in the live well. I fish a tournament circuit with a slot limit it stays in 10"ers just as good as 5lbers.

Comments: Please don't waste your money on these Rapala tags. I typically don't write many reviews, but this product is infuriating. I wish companies stopped wasting resources making junk products. The red plastic tensioner on these will break after limited use. All Rapala had to do was spend just a little more money to use a metal tensioner. I would gladly spend a few more dollars for a product that actually works. Something that isn't broken in a few uses and I throw away. Do yourself a favor and just get the TH Marine tags!

From: Zac: Minnesota 6/28/22

Comments: Same as other guys...They break after a few uses, not to mention the clip doesn't stay secured to fish!!

From: Steven: Texas 4/25/22

Comments: I've bought these 2x and they break and don't hold fish. You can't use these on cull beam. Fish can shake them off. Wish they would redesign them stronger grip and tougher plastic.

From: Unknown: 3/1/22

Comments: If you are a boater or co-boater. Nothing like having these cull tags. Nonpuncture tags that will keep your catches safe! Easy to get your fish out the box!

From: Jiggy: Brooklyn, NY 1/10/22

Comments: Wish these were better, because I liked them at first.. had them for 6 months and only 2 left that haven't broke and they probably won't last much longer. Clips break, rubber cable breaks, not good material used, but Rapala could work out the kinks and make these better, hopefully they do..

From: Unknown: Louisiana 8/20/21

Comments: I love them. Easy to use. Don't have to try a catch the fishing just swimming around in the livewell.

From: Unknown: Brooklyn, NY 7/31/21

Comments: They all break, this product is a fraud. I did not spend your money on this product.

From: David: Madrid, Spain 1/17/21

Comments: These things are junk, literally just opened the package, opened one and the plastic "spring" broke. They are to damn tight its only a matter of time before they all break..

From: Colby: Maryland 9/19/20

Comments: Love the design to help with keeping fish alive. Small clip with good holding power. however the floats pull off very easily so I put the clips on different floats. Now I'v had the clips break, hope Rapala replaces them.

From: Lou: ROCHESTER 7/26/20

Comments: Terrible terrible tags.  Trying to cull fish with these is impossible.  They do not hold your fish.  Don't short spend on cull tags.  Get some good strong ones.! Only positive is they are small diameter and don't get tangled up in the livewell.

From: Jacob Sheldon 7/25/20

Comments: Used these one time, fish were able to throw the clips fairly easily. And to top it off i pulled them out of my livewells a week later and noticed 3 of my clips had broken. Would not recommend these clips at all, they are a very poor product.

From: Unknown: 6/15/20

Comments: These are the worst! The very first time I used these the clip broke! Literally... the very first time I tried to open the clips... broke.. I want to say it again so everyone understands. The VERY FIRST TIME..... The clips are made of plastic and there's no way they will stand the test of time. DO NOT BUY THESE! Rapala needs to rethink the design. Save your money and get the cull set from TH Marine or Cal Coast fishing. These aren't suitable for serious tournament anglers.

From: Jeff: Greenville, NC 6/10/20

Comments: These clips will not hold onto the bass when they swim around in the livewell.  And you certainly cannot pickup fish out of the livewell without the fish coming off.

From: Mike: SC 5/6/20

Comments: The first tournament I used these in I had one of the clips break while on a fish in the livewell. I spoke with someone at Rapala via email, sent them a picture of the broken clip, and they said they would send me a new set. It's been over a month now and I haven't received anything, and I had another clip break on a fish in the livewell.
