Overview
The Rapala Shad Rap RS 7 Suspending Crankbait is able to do something that no other Shad Rap is capable of – suspend. This allows it hover and stay in the strike zone longer to tempt pressured bass and other gamefish when it deflects off of cover or on the pause. This also gives you a little more versatility, allowing you to fish it like a jerkbait in some situations even though it predominantly fishes like a crankbait. Featuring a cadence-type rattle for added fish attraction, it has a slightly different wobble than the standard Shad Raps as well.
Constructed from durable polycarbonate, it offers increased durability in addition to increased casting capabilities thanks to its heavier weight. Hand-tuned and tank-tested, like all Rapala baits for consistent swimming action every time, the Rapala Shad Rap RS 7 Suspending Crankbait offers some unique differences and features, while maintaining what makes the Shad Rap series so effective.

Comments: These are deadly in cold water. You can work it slow or fast and then stall it out to get bites from lethargic bass. In the dead of winter this was the only lure that got bit while my friend threw plastics and ended up empty handed. Thats all the proof I needed to keep these handy in winter.

Comments: Rapala better not ever quit making these! These are the most underrated crankbaits they make. They cast well and they get bit a lot. Please Rapala keep making them.

Comments: A few years back, I got spanked by the guy in the front of the boat (he was new to cranking) throwing this bait. It was winter, and COLD. Water was dirty. I would have never thought a shad rap style bait would get bit but now I know. It's been a while since then and this is prob the best cold, stained water crankbait I have used. TW does not seem to carry the good colors, well, the ones that work for me.
