Overview
Sometimes to get big results, you have to go small, which is why Rapala has developed the Rapala Ultra Light Pop. Built with a deep, cupped lip and a flat chin, the Rapala Ultra Light Pop provides a spit and a splash that calls bass to the surface.
Appealing to a wide-range of species, the Rapala Ultra Light Pop is devastating on spotted bass, but just as lethal around big largemouth and smallmouth. Offered in a number of natural and chrome patterns, the Rapala Ultra Light Pop provides a lifelike presentation that is highlighted by true-to-life scaling and 3D eyes. Backed by two super-sharp VMC black nickel trebles, the Rapala Ultra Light Pop is the perfect choice for targeting light feeding fish.

Comments: Most people shy away from baits this small, but I've had multiple days where baits like this get bit over bigger lures. Last fall I was fishing for smallmouth on the Willamette River and there were a bunch of really small (1-2 inch) shad swimming around, and I got about a dozen nice smallmouth in a couple hours on this. My dad got skunked while fishing a popper that was about the size of the normal x-rap popper, so the small size can be the deal.

Comments: This popper is fantastic! Spawning panfish will hammer this lure! Caught many bass on this lure as well. I would recommend replacing the hooks with smaller ones if you have very small panfish in your body of water. I caught an absolute monster bluegill on this. This was a phenomenal purchase!

Comments: I bought this popper for bluegills, have caught many gills. But with this I have also caught many bass over 2 pounds with this. I have the bigger version as well but this gets double the hits than the bigger one.
