Creating a smooth surface for your trolling motor cord to rest against, the Red One Systems Ultrex Stainless Sleeve installs in seconds to help eliminate wear points and possible malfunction over time. Made to work with the Minn Kota Ultrex Trolling Motor, the Red One Systems Ultrex Stainless Sleeve simply slips into the existing hole along the topside of your trolling motor bracket. With the washer on top and E-Clip holding the sleeve firmly in place, the Red One Systems Ultrex Stainless Sleeve makes for smooth cable pulling points that won’t create a weak spot over time.

Red One SleeveI recently replaced my Lowrance Ghost trolling motor and decided to add the Red One Sleeve to the new ghost. I had noticed on the previous ghost there was a groove that the cable over time had created. It makes sense a stainless steel sleeve would allow the cable to slide easily and not cause a groove. It works so well I contacted Danny Miller to order the aluminum handle. Very nice upgrade.
Wears through cable faster than withoutOddly enough, this wears through my Ghost cable faster than not using it at all. Not sure if I got a bad one with a burr, but I am having to order replacement cable after less than a year. Will pull this out when I replace the cable.

Comments: Designed for the Ultrex my sleeve fits most Minn Kota trolling motors. You may need to file the rough coating in your trolling motors hole but almost all need no adjustments. Very little if any so go easy with the file. It fits the Lowrance Ghost trolling motor perfectly and makes for a great smooth surface there also.

Comments: Got it installed and overall it is relatively simple. E-clip requires a bit of patience and just the right touch. We used a magnet and a long-handled screwdriver to snap into place! Great product and will eliminate the cable burning through the Ultrex head. Owner of product was excellent help via the phone prior to ordering the kit.
