Overview
An innovative hover strolling jig head built to meet the demands of live sonar anglers, the Reneau Tackle Minnow Helmet Jig Heads is designed with a unique helmet head and proprietary alloy. Engineered with 90% of the weight above the shank of the hook, the concave portion rests on top of your bait resulting in a slow side-to-side rolling action on your favorite soft plastic minnow. The helmet shape not only simplifies the rolling action for the angler but also protects the minnow from being pulled down or “wadded” up in the bend of the hook.
Boasting a higher tensile strength than lead and 25% lighter per size, Helmet Jig Heads give anglers an increased surface area above the minnow, resulting in a much clearer return with live sonar. A wire keeper on the bottom secures all types of plastics, and unlike other jig heads with a 90-degree line-tie, the Helmet Jig’s recessed line tie creates an unobstructed hook-up. Complete with a Gamakatsu Nano Alpha hook coating that’s twice as slick as traditional finishes for improved penetration, the Reneau Tackle Minnow Helmet Jig Heads come in versatile sizes and offer an incredible hook-up ratio.
