Overview

Tested for over two years on big bass lakes all across the country, the Riot Baits Raptor Lipless Crankbait is a culmination of collective ideas from several top anglers across the globe resulting in what some are calling “the best hardbait ever produced.” Featuring a full wire-thru construction that increases strength and the overall integrity of the bait, the Riot Baits Raptor Lipless Crankbait is built with a taller body and wider nose, which allows it to run in an aggressive nose down position that is easily ripped through the grass. It also features dual rattle chambers that create a fierce vibration and thundering aquatic signature when it’s retrieved through the water column.

Covered in lifelike details, the Riot Baits Raptor Lipless Crankbait features downward looking 3D eyes, gill plates, and a highly detailed paint job that will fool even the wariest of bass. It is also outfitted with Mustad short shank 2X treble hooks to help keep fish pinned and secure during the fight. Offered in an assortment of colors, the Riot Baits Raptor Lipless Crankbait will outperform all the other lipless crankbaits in your tackle box.

Comments: Son I smash on these lipless cranks!!! It rips up hard with a tight vibration and a rattle most bass have never heard, then on the fall it sinks so slow with a side to side wobble that drive bass nuts, any slower and it would suspend, best lipless on the market and built perfect with the wire on the inside that keeps the frame stout. Will never pick up another lipless besides the berkley warpig or damiki tremor if I want a fast retrieve, perfect name, the Raptor is the best on the market, glad they are always in stock on here, afraid they wont be long once they get big!!!

Comments: This bait took me a while to appreciate. It is a 1/2 oz but the larger body offset the weight making it not cast as well in the wind. Also since it doesn't sink fast, you do have to fish it completely different. That all said, I fish lakes in the Carolinas where the bass can be shallow all year and it's those cold months where this bait shines. I can cast the Raptor towards wind blown shoreline and rip and stop it, and the Raptor practically suspends. Most rattle traps would sink fast and be hung on the rocks if I did that. I think it's slow falling flutter get the bass to inhale it. I've had a lot of luck with this bait when the shad are dying off running that pattern.

Comments: The shimmy this bait has on the fall is crazy! And the wire thru construction that touches each point of the bait is a stellar selling point. Strong, dependable, and amazing action is why Ill keep buying these.

Comments: Good choice for deep cold water.

Comments: Everyone knows that Lipless Cranks flat out catch fish and Riot Baits are no exception. I've personally thrown the Gold and the Onyx and both have produced quality as well as quantity in Small Jaws and Largies. If you want to cover water quickly and wake up a few sleepy fish, pick some up. You'll love them as much as I do.
