Overview
The Ryugi Pierce Weighted Screwlock Wide Gap Hooks are designed with a finely tuned shape and weight position that supports the natural swimming action of small swimbaits, stick baits, and other soft plastics. Perfect for using around cover, the round shape and forward positioning of the weight allows your presentation to easily slip through structure and vegetation. Coated with Ryugi’s proprietary TC Teflon coating, the surface of the hooks are slick and encourage a quick penetrating, positive hook set. Constructed from Ryugi’s wear-resistant cyber metal, Ryugi Pierce Weighted Screwlock Wide Gap Hooks boast high strength and feature a hook point that is less likely to dull.

Comments: I like these hooks a lot, curve on them great for swimbaits. I like the weight per hook size more than other brands I've used. My only problem is the lakes I fish in have a lot of pike, who also like my swimbaits.

Comments: Great for my favorite older swimbaits that have an extended "CHIN" or neck. No telling how long I have waiting on this, because the head "CHIN", gets in the way of the hook shaft. Now I am back in business and business is good ! Ryugi Pierce Weighted Screwlock Wide Gap Hook has changed my fishing style back to the early days of swimbait domination.

Comments: Excellent! Fat bodied baits can bottom out on other hooks, not getting out of the way to clear the hook point for a good set. The angle of the shank relative to the hook eye is what sets this one apart. Best hook profile I've yet found. Always been a fan of Owners' CPS retainer pin but this one works very well. Now my "go to" for all soft plastics.
