Comments: Unlike the other reviewers I love this little popping frog for BSF fishing. I've gotten small mouth and large mouth on it. I have ZERO issue with the hook up ratio. When a fish takes it, due to the small size it get inhaled. I have NO issue with it sinking every 5 casts or taking on excess amounts of water. Couple presses every once in a while and the water is out. On a ML bait caster and the correct reel such as the Shimano Curado BFS with lighter line you will have a tone of fun. For line I use braid, Sufix 832 10#. Don't listen to the other reviews and get this little frog for some BFS top water fun!

Comments: Hands down the worst frog design. The hooks are very low on the bait and positioned on the side. Don't waste your time & $$ on this frog. It also sinks every 5 casts. Stick with the 50 or 60.

Comments: it does catch fish but it takes on water very easily causing it to want to sink after just a couple casts. annoying yes, deal breaker no. Though I hope they are working on improvements as us BFS guys want to fish with frogs more.

Comments: I ordered one of these small frogs and just playing around you can rig it with a spinning reel n rod with 15 or 20 lb braid and it will catch fish, but my fav is the 60 popping frog and the 60 jr frog they are hard to beat and last forever
