Overview
Joining the legendary family of Spro Frogs, the Spro Essential Flappin Frog 65 delivers a kicking and buzzing action that triggers ferocious topwater explosions. Featuring a hollow body design and two large kicker legs, the Spro Essential Flappin Frog 65 is completely weedless and gives anglers the ability to fish a buzzbait style action through heavy cover without getting snagged or interrupting the kicking legs. The hollow body design also allows it to float so anglers can pause the frog and work it slower than a soft plastic kicking frog, which would sink if paused during the retrieve. The Spro Essential Flappin Frog 65 is made out of a super tough TPE material as well to increase the durability so that anglers can fish it through the heaviest of cover without having to worry about damaging their frog. Armed with a 4/0 Gamakatsu Nano Smooth Coat Double Frog Hook that provides effortless hook sets, the Spro Essential Flappin Frog 65 allows you to cover water quickly and put big fish in the livewell.

Comments: I was beyond excited when spro came out with a paddle tail/foot frog only to be completely disappointed. I am very satisfied with the action of the frog and the ease that it casts and skips but it has a MAJOR durability problem. 1. The weight disc on the bottom of the frog pops off after one strike and the frog will start taking on a little water. 2. The body of the frog rips/tears easily after just a few strikes/hooksets and the frog will start taking on even more water. 3 The hooks will puncture the body of the frog when trying to skip it under cover or when setting the hook making the frog take on even more water. In summary, save your money. I love Spro hollow body frogs but this paddle tail, especially for the price, just doesn't hold up.

Comments: Belly weight pops out super easy. After that they are worthless they get flooded with water right away. Regardless they do have awesome action and catch big fish.

Comments: Wanted to love this frog as I've been happy with other SPRO frogs, but it was a disappointment. It wanted to land upside down on the cast and the legs are too firm to provide a good flapping action. Was hoping for a SPRO quality frog that could cover water like a toad, but ended up with a frog that fouled being upside down in the grass and made a slight gurgle at best.

Comments: Very cool. Like the other review says it can slide down the hook shank and the weight (attached to the hook) and the plastic keeper on the nose will be exposed. Just pop it back in. Like most manufacturers they prob won't fix this major flaw. The frog material is unique. You have to feel/see. It's a medium/soft density. The hooks are fluorine coated so super sharp. The sound is subtle. Just like a horny toad etc. I only threw it a little as they were not on fast moving baits. This is a good frog and you should try it. It will get bit and hookup will be good.

Comments: Weight comes out of belly to easy. Bought 2 and weights came out in first couple hours.
