Overview
Expanding the highly successful line-up of Little John Crankbaits, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R 50 Crankbaits now add a sound element so that you’re ready for any situation and those times when rattling baits simply outperform silent baits. Featuring the same flat sided profile as the original Little John that produces a tight wobbling action, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R 50 Crankbaits feature a soft tungsten weight transfer system for better castability, as well as, steel ball bearings that produce a hard rattling sound, which is perfect for calling fish out of cover and in stained water or low light conditions. They are also equipped with a computer chip bill that is extremely durable and sensitive so that anglers can create erratic deflections off cover and feel everything your bait comes into contact with.
On the bottom the Spro John Crews Little John Type R 50 Crankbaits are armed with premium Gamakatsu round bend treble hooks that are sticky sharp and provide superior hook setting performance. Covered in highly detailed paint jobs and patterns that will match the hatch on any body of water, the Spro John Crews Little John Type R 50 Crankbaits add a new dimension to the Little John line-up so you can catch even more fish.

Comments: Great crankbait, ready to fish as soon as you open the package. The Type R was the only one available to me in the Homemade Shad color. I fished it one trip then ordered a half dozen in Homemade Shad. I loaned one to a friend for a tournament, he won Big Bass pot on the Homemade Shad that day. He then ordered more.

Comments: These things just catch bass everywhere and the perch can't resist them either. My most productive crank bait this year.

Comments: It's a great crankbait, very tight wobble side to side and you can tell by the end of your rod tip if it is coming thru the water correctly. Proven time and time again bass catching machines. Cannot go wrong having several colors of these in your crank bait box and Tackle Warehouse had the color I was trying to find and shipped it out quick.

Comments: I love the SPRO Little John's!! I started using them last year and they are fish cactching machines. The hooks are sticky sharp and the fish seem to love the action and sound of the bait. The baits say they are 1/2 oz, but they handle and cast more like a 3/8 oz bait. I was still able to use them on bait casting gear and braided line. The lips are tough, I have not had any problems with them. The only thing that would make these better is if they came in more colors. These are a solid, all around good bait and have become one of my staples/go to baits!

Comments: They got these crankbaits right. Quality components. Hooks that are worthy of fishing are original equipment. I've noticed that the Tactical Bassin guys have started talking about these baits as well. That's a huge endorsement right there. I've caught alot of bass this year using these lures. My choice of squarebills for my style of cranking.

OK,Comments: Nice little crankbait. It catches fish. I highly recommend changing hooks. The stock ones are too long and hook each other. I switched to size 6 triple grips.

Comments: I just found out about these baits, and I love them. I have caught many bass on it this year. I think in the pressured waters where I fish, the tight wiggle, small profile, and different sounding rattle are something the fish are not used to seeing. The hooks are super sharp and strong. The only minor issue I have is that they do not cast the best for weighing 1/2 oz. I think they handle more like a 3/8 oz bait. Otherwise, I love this bait and always have some tied on!!

Comments: Its been my favorite go to squarebill. Largemouth Smallmouth and Rockfish hammer this bad boy! I've fished the Potomac Chesapeake bay and the Susquehanna with excellent success! Caught ten of the largest bronzebacks I've ever seen this spring on the Susquehanna.Red patterns work quite well for me.Keep up the pretty work Spro!
