Featuring a triple-jointed construction that creates highly realistic swimming action, the Spro SB40 Swimbait 4” is built with counterbalanced pin segments that create a free-swinging range of motion with each turn of the reel handle. Leveraging the original fish-catching design of the original SPRO BBZ-1 Shad Swimbait, the SB40 is a compact shad profile swimbait perfect for herring lakes, gizzard shad fisheries, or anytime the fish are pressured but feeding up on large baitfish.
Available in floating and slow-sink model options, anglers can sink the SB40 quickly to live sonar marks and target suspended fish with the slow sink, or trigger aggressive shallow-water blow-ups using the floater. Finished with natural 3D eyes, realistic scaling, and a super durable soft fin and tail section, the Spro SB40 Swimbait 4” is backed by two razor-sharp 2X-strong size#2 Gamakatsu treble hooks to ensure your success with large predators.
