Overview
It’s no secret that buzzbaits catch bass - and big ones at that. The Santone Clacker Buzzbait delivers all of the qualities you want in a buzzbait, including a tremendous clacking and surface disturbance. Hand made in the US with only the highest quality components, the head features a durable chip resistant coating and a shape that helps it track perfectly through the water. A premium silicone skirt adds additional lifelike movement to the presentation and live-wire tempered stainless steel wire flexes easily on hookset and rebounds back into place. Also equipped with a super sharp Mustad hook seals the deal on hooksets, the Santone Clacker Buzzbait has what it takes to call up the big ones.

Comments: WOW! 1/4 oz white with nickel blade, removed the skirt entirely and replaced with a black horny toad. The skirt keeper holds the toad extremely well and am able to slow roll or burn it with ease. Was fishing my local spring fed lake here in central florida yesterday (9/2/21), sand bottom, lots of docks, sparse eel grass. Absolutely crushing them (went 12 for 20) in the middle of the day (noon to 2 pm) in 1-4 ft of water, sunny and breezy with mid 90's air temp and 87 degree water temp. I'm usually a night time buzzbait fisherman so it was awesome to see the blowups (and the ones that got away lol) versus usually just hearing them. Just ordered up some of the black blade, black head to try at night with the toad combination. My shoulders are loving the 1/4 oz size and was previously running a toad on a 4/0 trailer hook connected to a 3/8 skirted buzz which was a load so getting rid of the skirt and trailer hook has enabled me to get more casts in before burning out physically.
Only complaint I have would be to shorten up the wire holding the blade or put a longer crimp behind the blade as one of my baits had an issue with the crimp sliding back which then the clacker doesn't reach the blade because it is too far back. Accidentally snapped the wire trying to squeeze the crimp down.

Comments: Great buzz bait that catches a lot of fish. One bad thing is the durability. After catching 2-3 fish the buzz bait will not run very good anymore. Still my favorite buzz bait but always buying new ones.

Comments: Best buzzbait in my box: its got a lovely squeal right out of the package and runs straight. Has a sound like no other, and is easy to burn or slow roll. Gotta buy some more cause mine got stuck in a tree: 10/10 would recommend
