Overview
If you’re looking for the ultimate crawfish presentation, the Savage Gear 4D Craw stands head-and-shoulder above the competition. Created from a 3D scan of an actual crawfish, its true-to-life detailing and ultra-lively moving whiskers and legs deliver a whole new level of realism. It is also made from a floating PVC plastic, which allows it to sit in a dead-on defensive crawfish posture that triggers an aggressive feeding response from fish. Taking it to a level even further, the Savage Gear 4D Craw is infused with salt and scent to help fool the wariest of lure-shy bass and make fish hold on longer once they strike, giving you more time to set the hook.
Not only does the Savage Gear 4D Craw look incredible it is extremely versatile as well. Anglers can use it on Texas-rigs, Carolina-rigs, shaky heads, and as a jig trailer, the possibilities are nearly endless. Available in true-to-life colors, the Savage Gear 4D Craw is the most realistic soft body crawfish every created.

Comments: Most realistic craw I've fished. Excellent color choices. Works good on a rugby head.

Comments: Have never tried this particular bait, but it looks very real, had good reviews and the price was right! Looking forward to tying it on this Spring.

Comments: The savage gear 4D Crawl is almost a perfect match compared to a real crawfish has good action out fishes any other plastic crawfish on the market. I rig it with a weedless net rig and on some days it's the only bait I can catch fish on.

Comments: You can't beat these for realism, I have all 3 sizes and won't throw any other craw. Great on wobble head and makes perfect jig trailer!!!

Comments: Very realistic craw imitation. I use these for open water mostly, on everything from a jig to shaky head to ned. When the water is clear or the fish need a realistic look these are sure to add a few extra pounds to the boat.

Comments: Savage 3D AND 4D Craw are very good baits! The first time I fished them I didn't catch any bass. The next time out I found a long rocky bank. BINGO! I just drag these craws across the rocks and the LM went after them. Caught a nice 18.5 SM on a Green Pumpkin. Great look and design.

Comments: The most realistic crawfish bait out there 3 inch and 4 inch. It has some issues with colors and glitter or metallic flake in them that doesn't look real I wish they would opt out for more muted colors that would be awesome but hands-down out fishes other Baits 2-1 on average And I recommend the green pumpkin and magic craw Mudbug Alabama craw summer craw those colors play very well where I live also PB&J if it's the non-metallic

Comments: This is a very fine soft plastic craw. Perfect for flipping weightless or Texas rigged. I've had many days where this was my best bait and tough days where it was only thing fish would bite on. Highly recommended.

Comments: This is a very realistic lure. I used it on a ned head and it worked perfect. Seems to hold up well. Action is great. Pricey but worth it if it continues to produce.

Comments: I fish small streams and rivers in Southwest Virginia for Smallmouth Bass. I am always looking for the most realistic soft plastic crawfish baits in color and shape. The 4D Craw (solid body) is one of the best I have found so far. Some of the color combinations don't exactly "match the hatch" so to speak but there are a few that are close (Alabama Craw & Mud Bug). The 3" size is about perfect because it's too big for the smaller fish to jump on and an easy target for the bigger fish. I hope Savage keeps them in their line up!

Comments: This bait looks as good as advertised, on a stand up head you canât tell it's not real

Comments: I found this craw to be very affective in heavy timber fishing it on a 1/2 jig . The body is very buoyant and fishing it slow slow and letting it rest in one spot for 10 to 20 seconds yielded some money fish.

Comments: Truly the most realistic you will see.

Comments: These are excellent imitations of real crayfish, and they do catch fish.

Comments: As realistic as it gets
From: Mike: 3/15/21
Comments: Was disappointed with the size and buoyancy. Tried four different types of rigging and it still didn't sit up. The 3d is better IMO.

Comments: I don't leave many reviews but these are so realistic that I felt necessary to write. I have fished the 3ds and also the Tackle HD high def Craw and between those 2 I would give the edge to Tackle HD, these new 4ds surpass the Tackle HD though. My all ti.e favorite live bait to fish is a live crawdad and when I opened these my son and I were both blown away and both thought man we don't even need to fish live crawdads anymore. They nailed this one for sure!
