Overview
Delivering all the same great qualities and fish catching abilities of the original 4D Pulsetail Trout, the Savage Gear 8” Pulsetail Trout RTF Swimbait is equipped with a top hook configuration for anglers who want to fish with a fixed jig hook. It features a game-changing Pulse Tail design that delivers a subtle, ultra-realistic action, that can be fishing at slow, medium, and even high speeds with a tail-thumping motion. An innovative slot is also incorporated into the top of the tail so the angler can modify their swimbait with scent or a rattle to further tempt any unconvinced trophy lunkers into tasting your trout. Savage Gear applied the same attention to detail that they did in the tail to the rest of the body. With its incredibly life-like body profile and colors, the bass in your lake simply won’t be able to ignore it.
On the top of the bait, the Savage Gear 8” Pulsetail Trout RTF Swimbait features a heavy-duty jig hook for rock solid hook sets. It also features a split dorsal design with a heavy-duty treble hook secured with steel cable to an anchor point behind the jig hook to minimize hardware exposure for a more natural presentation to fool the weariest of fish. Available in a variety of ultra-realistic photoprint colors, the Savage Gear 8” Pulsetail Trout RTF Swimbait looks and swims like the real thing, making it an exceptional tool for trophy anglers in any body of water.

Comments: One of the most realistic swimbaits I've ever seen. You also can't go wrong with the price. It's a tough bite in PA so I haven't had any hits yet. The only downside is the stinger hook likes to come out so you have to make sure it penetrates the plastic when you put it back into the slot. Other than that is swims straight and true.

Comments: You can't go wrong with this bait for the money. It looks good and has caught some good fish up to 7lbs. Great price point for a larger swimbait.

Comments: This bait just gets bit in Maine. The 8" size is in my opinion a way better option than the 6". Have actually caught more smallmouth than green ones to this point, but caught back to back 6# LMB off my favorite point in 15 minutes just creeping bottom. Brand new and learning the softbait game, and this bait is affordable considering the fact I've cast off more than a few, and broken off twice on what I'm sure were Northern Pike (praying they were pike) no big deal because this bait is easy to restock and doesn't destroy the vibe when this newbie swimbaiter makes his eventual screw ups. Cheers to Tactical Bassin for recommending this great bait.

Comments: I like it. A lot. Around grass and sun, summer or winter it's always a player. It's got a nice enticing wide kick that thumps enough with being to over the top. It's way cheaper than a hudd and comes with a stinger hook, which is a plus. However, the stinger hook does like to come out every so often which is annoying. I have found that it helps to actually push part of the hook into the plastic, which secured it a little more. Overall, 9/10. It stinks like plastic for a while after you get it, but it eventually goes away. Also, be warned, the slow sink is very slow. I'd go with the fast sink if I were you.

Comments: No complaints. Great swimming action whether slow rolled or with a fast retrieve. Caught a 5 lb largemouth on the 3rd cast and the only thing sticking out of the mouth was the line tie.

Comments: Excellent quality and value for a soft body swimbait! They are more affordable than Huddleston, and already come rigged with a single-wire stinger.

Comments: Excellent swim baits and your can't beat the price. The tail has a great thump and your can't help but notice the incredible two hooks setup with quality hooks. For the money Savage Gear has done an incredible job. I've been fishing it for 4 weeks now 2021 and have already caught 4.40 /4.60 and a 3.65 which is not bad for Massachusetts

Comments: Great swimming action and stability. Definitely a hudd replacement. One thing that really annoys me though is the stinger hook comes out every 5 casts or so. Needs a better hook keeper.

Comments: High quality and budget pricing swimbait from Savage Gear. You don't need $100 baits to get bit or get started with big baits.
