Overview

A deadly collaboration between Tackle Warehouse and Savage Gear, the Savage Gear Soft Shine Glide 7" Glide Bait is built to draw wary predators from their hideouts with hyper-realistic swimming and gliding action. Featuring a line-thru treble, the modified feathered hook is built to efficiently tuck-in a molded belly slot to lock the treble hook in place, dislodging from its position as soon as a fish is hooked. Designed to be fished on medium to fast retrieves to ignite the tail action, after pausing on a steady retrieve the Soft Shine wanders to the side, appearing as an inquisitive or wounded baitfish.

For a more erratic action, work the Savage Gear Soft Shine Glide 7" Glide Bait with a chop/twitch cadence, twitching your rod as if you’re fishing a topwater to produce a walk-in-place action right below the surface. Ideal for fishing around docks or isolated laydowns, the Savage Gear Soft Shine Glide 7" Glide Bait draws fish out of cover and produces heart-stopping strikes thanks to its ability to work side-to-side in a stationary position.

Not so much a glideDoes really good on the burn looks really life like. Trying to glide it tho not so much. Gave to rod twitches, reel bumps. Tried different size lines and removing the split ring but couldn’t get it to glide nice. If you are looking for a burn pause bait this is for you!

Don’t get confusedFor the people looking at the other reviews those guys obviously don’t know what their doing/talking about it’s not a open water glide like an s waver that you just cast and reel and and give a few twitches you have to actually use ur reel and rod giving input and reel turns that bring the bait alive great swimbait if u simply pay attention and take ur time learning the bait

Not a glideThis bait is absolutely useless. Although being sold as a glide, it has no gliding action whatsoever. At best you can almost walk the dog but not with a predictable, controllable action. I just put these right in the trash.

This glide requires some learning! This is a chopping style glide, it’s not your typical cast and reel. You basically do a walk the dog style retrieval to get it going. If you do that retrieval slower the bait will walk wider. You can also reel it fast with a snake style action and pause, then it will glide out wide and dart up to the surface. It actually looks like a fish swirling on it. Literally just landed a 6lb on vid a few hours ago on this bait I will post it on IG.

Worst Savage Gear bait yetI was so excited about this bait with all the hype that was promoted around it! Only to be greatly disappointed. This thing has about as much action as a pencil coming through the water. Zero glide at all, whatsoever! All it does it pull straight and if you twitch it harder it will nose up and turn upside down. I would highly recommend you stay away from this one. And that's coming from a huge Savage Gear fan.

Feathered hanger instead of feathered treble.Holographics in the rubber is cool but not highly visible on gizzard. Also the feathers are attached to the hanger instead of directly to the hook so it does not hide the hook as good as their new gill bait with feathers tied directly to hook. Why the difference?

ColorsColors don't impress me. I have seen the bait worked and it looks sick.
