Overview
Delivering the perfect balance between performance and strength, the Savage Gear Twitch Reaper Walking Bait not only draw strikes, but capitalizes on them as well. Finely crafted from end to end, the Savage Gear Twitch Reaper Walking Bait is built with a realistic baitfish profile highlighted by a prominent eyes, molded mouth, pectoral fins, and a detailed scale pattern. Aggressive predators may be less discerning, but when the bite is tough, these convincing details will push indecisive fish over the edge.
Complimenting the Savage Gear Twitch Reaper Walking Bait’s visual appeal, a large internal rattle creates the high-pitch sonic attraction that sounds like a school of nervous baitfish. This sensory stimulant proves effective at calling in fish from afar and exciting those nearby.
Once a fish commits, the Savage Gear Twitch Reaper grabs hold with an unfailing grip thanks to a pair of sticky sharp black nickel treble hooks. Solidifying the bait’s design, a sturdy through wire system prevents the hooks from being pulled out – a failure that can occur with standard hook anchor. Offered in a range of proven colors, the Savage Gear Twitch Reaper Walking Bait is built with an extreme focus on details both inside and out.

Comments: Not sure why guys in bottom comments are calling this a jerkbait when its not its a walking bait or a topwater glider so yes it will dive a bit but its not a jerkbait and has to be walked like a spook not a jerkbait and if u twitch to hard the bait won't work right.

Comments: Ordered the Greenie 90mm suspending as a sub walker option. This baby covers water quickly! I've caught a 6lber and numerous back to back especially when the wind picks up. I changed the hooks to singles and weighted them to be similar weight to stock. Casts like a bullet as well

Comments: I wanted a more finesse option for my jerkbait box. You can get it walk a little bit, but it really just wants to roll, or go nose up, or go nose down, move in a straight line, or really anything but a tantalizing walk. Hard to think of a good application for it but you never know.

Comments: PSA!!! I fish a lot of Walking baits and picked up this one looking for something to fish when the schooling bite needs something more finesse than a gunfish 115. Casts okay for a small bait on 12# mono but it was all down hill from there. They call it a floater but as soon as you start to work the bait it wants to dive. No way this is a topwater walking bait. Best I could do was a steady fast cadence and it would walk 6" deep but most of the time it was all over the place (not in a good way!) with no action. First and probable last Savage bait I'll waist money on if this is what they let go to market

Comments: I tried using this bait today. I made about 10 casts with it and 9 of them came back fouled up and got hooked on my line. I am an avid jerkbait user and used my usual jerkbait setup on this bait. I also watched the video Cliff Pace put out. Ill try it again to see if I can make it work, but as it is now, Im not impressed.
