Comments: Wouldn't reccomend. Unless you enjoy wind knots. Replaced 3 out 4 rods with smackdown braid in either stealth gray 15lbs or 10lbs flash green. Every trip out I have 1 rod that gets thrown to the side because I get a wind knot in it. Just fixed my last yesterday went out again for some pre tournament fishing and all 3 rods had to be broke off and redone because of these darn wind knots. I'm OK with 1 every once in awhile but this is absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully I can get it through the rest of tournament season before I have to replace the line with another brand.

Comments: I tried Smackdown for the first time last year, I purchased 10 and 15lb, I used a Fluorocarbon top shot from 8-12lb and it worked excellent, the color held up well and it handled very good!, I caught a lot of Pink, Chum and Silver Salmon with zero issues, smooth, quiet and held Uni knots very well. I used this back to back with Sufix 832 neon lime that saw even more use and was excellent too but this line is a small step above in smooth handling and color retention. I did not have a single wind knot or fraying issue all season it still looks great and will going right back after them this year.

Comments: I have used 15 pound test for the last two seasons on my drop shot rod without swaping out the line. I mostly use a ten foot leader or so with an Alberto knot. To say the least I am super happy with the performance and switch from straight flouro. The line twists have been very minimal and the feel greatly enhanced. There doesn't seem to be less bites with the braid so I feel the line color is not much of an issue.

Comments: The diameter of smackdown has changed. I used to use the 10lb smackdown with a diameter of .128 mm (thinner than stated) which was close to PP 3 lb. Now the new diameter of 10 lb is .205 mm which is the same as #1.5 or 27 lbs. Going to miss the ultra thin seaguar smackdown. To get the .128 diameter now you have to order the R18 sea bass #0.6 or 11 lb from japan.

Comments: This stuff seems to have a bad reputation on TW. I'm here to tell you that I have no idea what they are talking about. This stuff is absolutely amazing. If you use it how it was intended then you will fall in love. By far the best stuff on the market IMO. I have a lot of money riding on my lines and rods every month, and this stuff beings home the bacon. I use stealth grey and the lime green. Both are perfect.

Comments: This stuff is legit! I use to only use suffix 832 and it's great braid very thin and smooth I thought till I picked this stuff up and man it is incredible how quiet it is running through the guides doesn't even compare go out and pick some smackdown and you won't be disappointed.

Comments: If you're looking for a high-viz braid that doesn't bleed out the color after a day of fishing, this is the line. I've used it on several trips now and have no complaints. Very manageable on spinning gear.
