Comments: Finally I can write an honest review about these Poison Adrenas. I own multiple Adrenas from baitcasting to spinning and I will be ordering 2 more in the next month. They are just sensitive and perfect for what I do with them. I fish mainly crappies, whitebass, hybrids and stripers. I don't care about the warranty. Just take care of them and they'll last a lifetime. I still have mines from the date they were released and never had sent them in. My brother bought one and I even bought one for my dad. They loved em just as much as I do.

Comments: I have the 6'7" ML and a 2 piece 7'6" M spinning (JDM model) and they are both great rods. Both are incredibly light, well built, and sensitive. I use the 6'7" ML for vertical dropshot fishing along with light neko fishing around docks. The 7'6" M is a unicorn to me, similar to a Steez MML "the one" except easier to travel with. I use it for anything from horizontal dropshot fishing, to hair jigs, to smaller paddletails. It's been great for up here in the north country when chasing smallmouth in ultra clear water. I prefer it over my NRX 902S it's that good. If you're looking at getting an Adrena, do it! I couldn't recommend them more.

Comments: I have owned the 6'10" ultralight, 7 med and the 6'11" med hvy. I really like the 6'10 for finesse fishing. Great for throwing ultralight jigs to bass. The 6'11" med hvy is great at throwing senkos and other weightless worms. Both these rods are well built, lightweight and sensitive. They are awesome rods. The 7' med is not as good of a rod. Like the other review, it's tip heavy. The rod weighed in at 4.0 oz on my scale. Not particularly heavy but it does weigh more than the 6'11" med hvy. I tried different reels to see if it would balance out but nothing really worked out well. I wanted to like this particular model but just couldn't due to the balance issue. Ended up selling it for a lost.

Comments: I picked up the 7ft M Poison Adrena spinning rod, I can start out by saying the fit and finish are outstanding, the rod looks great, the guides are top notch. When I picked up the rod, I was disappointed with it being very tip heavy, this seems to be a balance issue, when I repositioned my hand up the blank a few inches above the locking nut it lost the tip heaviness and balanced just right, this is all with no reel on it yet. I put a Vanford 2500 on it , and again balance was an issue, it felt very tip heavy, I switched out to a Sustain 2500 and the increased weight of the Sustain improved the balance making it feel less tip heavy. One the water I was using it for heavy neko applications, 1/4oz and 3/8oz in 25-35 feet of water and shaky heads. The rod is very sensitive in regards to feeling what is on the bottom and detecting strikes, but the balance/tip heavy issues is there, which is really disappointing for a rod in this price range. I have Poison Adrena casting rods that are super sensitive with no weight/balance issues. Shimano needs to take another look at this rod , I think it has the potential to be one of the best spinning rods available today, but they need to address the weight/balance issue. To summarize, sensitivity is there but weight/balance is a real turn off, this review is only for the 7ft M, I have not tried the other models.

Comments: I got the 6'7 Medium Light as a gift and let me tell you it has been my favorite finesse for wacky worms and micro top waters. It is in my opinion lighter than any g.loomis blank, but i have not been able to catch any decent size fish yet, so i am not sure how it will do then. Another bonus on this rod is the handle, I personally love smaller handles on poles for skipping docks and the fact the butt end of the rod doesn't hit you constantly while pond fishing is great, the material (Ci4) the use for the handle is also super light and extremely comfortable. The K frame guides can cast small finesse lures a mile far, no matter how small it is. I have to say Shimano really hit it out of the park!

Comments: Purchase the 6'7 Medium light at the start of this season. I would probably consider it a true fast action not moderate-fast. This rod has easily become my main rod for most finesse fishing. Ned rig, wacky rig, small swimbaits, jig heads etc. Im also a big walleye angler up here in Canada and ive ordered another one of these rod for my livebait rigging. its just such a powerful but finesse rod. IMO it is the best rod you can buy right now. No justification to spend an extra $200 on an NRX, this rod will feel ultra premium. Home run by Shimano. hopefully they add a couple more models for next year.

Comments: I have the 6'11 MH, the rod isn't your typical light tip spinning rod. It's made for power, it feels like a fast action Medium+ casting rod, but don't let this sway you, it's still very sensitive and balanced rod. It exceeds at 1/2 oz Dark Sleeprs, skipping 3/8 jigs with trailers, Senkos and Texas rig finesse rigs like chicken rigs and drop shot. It's the opposite of bait finesse, where Japanese anglers tie on straight braid to skip into heavy cover.
