Featuring a solid-tip construction to maximize performance with hover-strolling tactics, the Shimano Poison Glorious Solid Tip Spinning Rods unite an advanced blank construction, innovative grip technology, and premium componentry. Built around Shimano's Ultimate Blanks Design (UBD), Spiral X Core, and Hi-Power X technology, strategically positioned carbon materials are used throughout the blank to optimize sensitivity, strength, and balance.
Starting at the rear grip and into the reel seat, Shimano debuts FusionGrip Technology, which features a thin cork grip spread onto a carbon monocoque grip and a hollow carbon structure that transmits vibration directly to the angler's hand. From there, a CI4+ reel seat is utilized for a lightweight reel-to-rod connection. Designed to improve casting distance, reduce line trouble, and increase sensitivity, the Shimano Poison Glorious Solid Tip Spinning Rods utilize a next-generation X-Guide system to be lighter, stronger, and more tangle‐resistant than traditional guide frames.
