Shimmano Sienna FGVery good Reel for the Price. Take the name off and you would think you have a very expensive Reel. I now have 3. I'm 75 and have been Bass fishing for many years. This is a quality Reel for the Price.

Great reel. Smooth. Durable.I bought the Sienna to hang under a Shimano Light action rod. The price was great regardless of what various reviews said, which were all positive by the way. I added 4 lb flouro and launched 1/4 ounce bates with wonderful results. Buy and try one. You won't be sad.

Comments: good reel for the price but of looking for a better budget reel I'd go with the diawa crossfire for $5 more ($35 total). the crossfire has a firmer nail system compared to the shimano. Don't know if I just got a dud but other than a weak bail/line holder is a good budget reel.

Comments: Really good drag system for a budget reel.

Comments: Amazing, fantastic low budget real very impressed!!! I use the 100 to catch small fish like bluegills, shell cracker the biggest fish I catch was 12 and a half inch crappie and the reel handle.

From: Bmosbay : Conroe Texas 6/25/23

Comments: I own several Shimano Stradic Ci4+ (now Vanford) and love them. I purchased a pair of these Sienna FG reels to keep in the cars and for beginners to use. The quality and smoothness of these reels is amazing at this price point. You'd think they were $100+ reels.

Comments: This reel has more bang for the buck. It is a high-quality reel at a great price. This reel can run with the high priced reels including all Shimano models and the competition brands too. This reel has many great features such as quality, price, performance, and the reverse switch. I have always been a fan of Shimano reels and this one is a great reel such as the Shimano Nexave. You do not have to break the bank to pick up this reel and it is all worth it. I have two of these reels on my set ups. They are ideal for dropshot, senkos, and whacky rigs. A great finesse reel and great price.

Comments: Great reel, great price. Great looking also red and black matches my new custom-made rod. First day out with it a 4 pound spotted bass Whiskeytown lake Redding California and it worked great!!!

From: Geoff Diaz/Lionheart Guide Service : Redding CA USA 1/30/23

Comments: What a great reel for a reasonable price! I like that it's so light and can use it all day long. Shimano reels are consistently good. I prefer the 2500 series.

From: Chris: Longwood, FL 2/5/22

Comments: Great reel overall. Have used this reel on all my setups for the past few years, and it performs great. The value is really bang for the buck. I can't say enough good things about this reel.

Comments: We just got back from the High Sierras. Great reel for the price. I bought 6 of these reels and not a problem one. My grandson caught his largest trout a 4 pounder. Very smooth reel. Thanks

Comments: Very good reel for the money. Bought to have a spare on a trip to Lake Erie. Ended up using the reel most of the week and caught several 4 to 5 pound smallmouth and up to 10 pound drum. Used the reel throwing Ned rigs. Again very good reel plan on buying another!

From: Randy: Paintsville, KY

Comments: I've had this reel for a year and a half and this was the reel i started fishing on and this is a good reel for the price and its been beat and thought everything rainstorms and 30 degree weather and its holding up perfect and i havent had any maintenance done on it and its a overall banger reel for the price i have the 2500 size and in the old navy blue with sparkles colorway which is way better.

From: Joshua: chicago, illinois 12/6/20

Comments: My buddy has the older model 500. He's deployed overseas, so I'm using it until he gets back. For the price, I'm fairly impressed. You have to use 4-6 pound line, and I wouldn't recommend braid. It casts well, drag seems ok, and it is very smooth for the price point. I haven't caught anything of substantial size with it, nor have I spent a lot of time fishing it, so I can't speak on durability. However, I'd buy one for a cheap beater reel that doesn't hurt the wallet to replace.

From: Unknown 11/24/20

Comments: These reels aren't gonna be a stradic, but for the price you can't beat em. First thing I noticed out of the box is that it just felt solid. The drag, once again, not a stradic but good enough for what I need it for. Even if you don't have an immediate use for this reel, you should pick one up in the 3000 size just to have as a backup. Overall, not high-end but good for the price point

From:  Unknown 11/24/20

Comments: I've have had a 2012 2500 and a 2014 4000 Sienna they have both been excellent reels caught my PB spotted bass on the 4000. Though I prefer the vastly more expensive reels. These are really solid and smooth and last a very long time espically for 30 bucks

From: Jacob: REDDING 7/15/20

Comments: This real is not sealed at all. Have had it for about 4 months and it has already locked up. Tried cleaning it out as soon as I felt it getting locked, but it was too late.

From: Unknown - 7/15/20

Comments: I only use a spinning reel once or twice a year, but when I do, the Shimano Sienna takes care of business. I am always tempted to get a Stradic, but simply haven't felt the need.

From: Vinh: Virgina 5/26/20

Comments: Got the 2000 & 3000 for inshore fishing. They handle real good in salt. Very smooth and easy to cast. Using 10lb on the 2000 and 15lb on the 3000. Mainly using this with finesse type lures and popping corks. Awesome reel for all levels of fisherman but especially good entry level if you want to get into Shimano reels. Highly recommend this reel.

From: Vic: Galveston, TX 1/26/20

Comments: I love the new Sienna Fg. The 2000 model is very smooth, and quiet and for the price. The quality can't be beaten.
