Overview
Packed with new technologies that aim to make all other jerkbaits obsolete, the Shimano WM-World Minnow Flash Boost Jerkbait relies on three innovative features that are designed to rip past the competition and upend the bass fishing industry. Starting with the components designed to draw predators in, the World Minnow utilizes their mesmerizing and patent-protected Flash Boost and Scale Boost. The Flash Boost system suspends a finely polished, reflective foil on micro springs within the body of the lure to deliver bass-attracting flash that shimmies enthusiastically even on the pause. Additionally, the Scale Boost scheme mimics the patterns of baitfish scales with next-level realism by employing an industry-exclusive composite-pitch hologram, increasing the amount and complexity of light reflected through the water column.
Internally, the Shimano WM-World Minnow Flash Boost Jerkbait houses Shimano’s exclusive Jet Boost apparatus to help anglers launch the World Minnow up to 22% farther than similarly sized jerkbaits. Exploiting the physics of an angler’s casting motion, the Jet Boost is a spring-loaded weight transfer system in which an internal weight slides to the tail on the backcast and returns to its original position for a balanced action in the water. The World Minnow is outfitted with premium hardware such as stainless steel split rings and sticky sharp treble hooks that maximize angler’s hook-up ratios. Overloaded with exciting new features that combine to drive bass into a feeding frenzy, the Shimano WM-World Minnow Flash Boost Jerkbait is sure to be one of the most technologically advanced baits to plunge into your favorite fishery.

Comments: Caught a fish on the 2nd cast a 20-23inch walleye. One of the hooks broke... didn't expect that for $20.

Comments: The flashboost isn't as reflective as I thought it would be. I wish these had rattles for more noise. For the price, I would expect a bit more. They do catch fish but wouldn't purchase it again.

Comments: Ordered two tried them out and sent them back. They don't cast right, the hooks tangle, and I didn't catch a single fish. Take my word and try a DUO Realis for largemouth you won't be disappointed!

Comments: Fantastic jerkbait , cast like a bullet and I do believe that " flash boost " insert is legit. One of my best new tackle additions for 2022 .

Comments: I recommend this over megabass due to the hooks (which you should change out anyway if you have stripers nearby) and most importantly, the weight. You have far more control with 5/8 oz ths a1/2. AYU has a shine/reflection that you cannot see in these pictures. It suspends great. I preferred Lucky craft, but for an extra 5, I will keep this tied on, and save $5 from MB.

Comments: I bought black/silver & blue/silver and love them. A quality made jerkbait. Flashboost is a hoot. Flashes at the slightest movement. The scaleboost feature really shows in the blue/silver color. Great split rings and hooks.

Comments: I like the idea of this bait.. i do . But I'm a die hard Megabass jerk bait fan .. so I compare all others to Megabass .. ( not fair I'm sure ) Where this one fails is it does not cast straight out like a bullet ( Megabass does ) it does not have the distance .. it's also a totally different feel when jerking .. I gave it a try with high hopes , it's just super hard to throw any other jerkbait when Megabass is so perfect . HOWEVER > I truly love the flashboost Shimano crank bait .. they totally hit a home run With their crank bait edition .. dives deep - pulls easy - tuned from the package So long as your not spoiled by Megabass .. this will do ok .. and just ok .

Comments: It looks great, but there is no shake or wobble like any of the other jerkbaits. Tried, just can't catch anything on it. But it look good.

Comments: A nice, robust, flashy jerkbait. If you like the Jackall Rerange you're going to like this too. The FlashBoost really does put out a lot of flash on the pause. A good sturdy option.
