Comments: Just picked up a pair and fished with them last weekend. Very impressed. Was not sure I would like the open palm but it was not a bother and probably kept the hands cooler on a 95 degree day while fishing two streams for smallmouth bass. I caught and released 45 smallmouth bass over the weekend and do wonder if fish slime would be a problem. It was not. The gloves have a long cuff which was nice as it covered all areas the shirt sleeve did not cover. Gloves got very dirty quickly (plain gray color) from climbing steep, muddy banks but threw them in the wash after the weekend and all is well. Gloves have a snap to keep them together. Fingerless gloves are always a challenge in removing and these were no exception. But, you continue to have excellent feel while using which is most important.
