Overview
Expanding the lineup of ‘Zoo’-style hollow body topwater lures, the Snag Proof Zoo Wake features a unique paddle tail design that aggressively churns water on the surface to entice aggressive topwater bites from fish sheltering in heavy cover. Designed to conquer areas choked with grass and heavy cover, the fully integrated hook design allows the Zoo Wake to slide over the top of cover without snagging and delivers the power to remove fish from the thickest of vegetation. Available in frog and bluegill-inspired color patterns, the Snag Proof Zoo Wake combines the action of a buzzbait with a super soft plastic frog body that collapses easily to expose the hooks for a quality hookset.

It's BackSo glad Snag Proof brought this back. Previously the Wiggle Wog, this is one of the best frog style baits ever made. Walks effortlessly and the tail throws a lot of water around, or reel it in slowly with the rod tip high and it swims with a seductive wake that gets bit, hard. Not really a bad way to fish it
zoo WakeMy wife an i have used this bait back when it was called the Wiggle wog and we are super excited to try the new and improved Zoo Wake. Summer of 2024 my wife pulled a 22 incher Large mouth in on this bait while i was at work her biggest to date, keep um coming Snag Proof :)
Very poorly designed bait!I got my hands on this bait at a tournament where they were giving them out, and I would later regret tying it on! The first two fish of the morning that ate this bait came off, and I don’t understand how it got bit, as it never swam correctly and swam weird. I figured I’d throw it for 10 minutes, and in that time, I had two bass come off, both over 4–5 pounds!
Later, as I examined the bait, I realized the issue was the hook and the weight wrapped around the shank inside wouldn’t allow for a good hookset. Also, it just doesn't run right, and the body will hardly collapse all the way due to the way the hook and weight is jammed inside of the body. The guys at Snag Proof need to go back to the drawing board with this one!
