Truly a Searchbait -- They Find Fish!Love these! I use the 3.5" (especially in True Blue, Smokin' Ghost, and Volunteer) for freshwater bass (large and smallmouth) and even larger bluegill, crappie, etc. Largemouth bass will also go after 4.5", too. The 4.5" and 5.5" (especially in the white-ish colors of Gaga and Pearl Ice) work great on red drum, speckled sea trout, and even flounder. Most recently I was surprised to see that they added a 2.5" size at 3/32 oz, which is perfect for my latest fishing interest of BFS (bait finesse system -- ultralight baitcaster) and also for regular spinning ultralight fishing. All of these have great swimming action, they're pretty durable (there have only been a few times where larger fish bitten off a tail or half body), they're very easy to rig, have a nice (but not ridiculous) rattle/noise in the jig head, the hooks are sharp and durable, and I've honestly never had a problem with plastic jig head cracking or breaking. I like these baits so much that I just can't bring myself to deduct any stars, but there are some cons. Although all the plastics seem to be the same durability, the colors/mixes can vary SIGNIFICANTLY. There have been numerous times where I've picked up a pack of Volunteer (which is supposed to be dark brown/black with silver and gold flakes) thinking it was Smokin' Ghost (which is a translucent grey/black with silver flakes in it). These two very different colors should never look even similar, but apparently their manufacturing process isn't very reliable. The same thing happens with the Hot Olive and Houdini colors. I mean, they're both green, but they should otherwise be very different and often it's difficult to tell the difference between the two. I also feel that all three baits should come with a jig head. I simply rarely, if ever, just lose the paddle tail and I'm almost always losing the whole bait (jig head and paddle tail). That leaves me with two useless paddle tails because they simply don't look good with any other jig head. Sometimes I'll use the extra paddle tails as a trailer on a spinner, skirted jig head, etc., where I can hide the bad transition in the skirt, but they should all just come with a jig head. Of note you can just buy extra jig heads (as well as extra trailers) by themselves, but you usually can't buy all the different colors of jig heads and I've only been able to find 4 colors (white-ish or Gaga, smelt or Volunteer, and Smokin' Ghost). The 4th color is chartreuse which I just don't use after having zero luck catching any fish off that color. Again, nothing worth deducting a star because these just plain work at catching fish for me in both fresh and saltwater. Not perfect, but pretty darn close. There are literally days that I go out inshore saltwater in my kayak with only a box of about 25 of these in 4 different colors and catch 10-12 fish. Other times it seems like I've brought my entire lure collection with me and caught nothing. Freshwater (especially bank fishing) typically requires a bit more lure variety, but I almost always at least start out with these using them for their name, searchbait. If the fish are biting, they will usually go after these. It may end up being better to switch to larger hard swimbait, jerkbait, squarebill, worm, or topwater, but these will definitely at least initially get their attention and let you know if it's worth trying other baits/lures.

Work well, but head durability is terribleI've bought several packs of these baits for my son. They definitely catch fish, but 4 heads have broken from running into rocks or hitting the motor on casts. Kind of ridiculous to make the head out of plastic considering there's only one per pack.

Comments: Caught a 6 to 7 pound catfish in the current under a bridge at the river in the rain, his head was bigger than my entire hand. That was on my 3rd cast off of my spinner.

From: Andrew: Hutchinson, Kansas 6/1/21

Comments: Amazing bait. This is my go to swimbait in new bodies of water. I can catch largemouth, striper, crappie, etc with this bait.

From: Conner: Wellington, Kansas 4/8/21

Comments: Now this won't make the manufactures happy to know but using just one one body, 113 Bar Rayes were caught and released in 2 days, they were up to 38". Naturally a smaller schoolie took off the paddle tail, then w/o the paddle-tail another 30 Bars were caught and released, that's an incredible 143 Stripers on one GT360 in 2 days. Other than missing its tail, the lure sits and awaits for me to return to Quebec to see just how many more Stripers can be caught on this the most durable lure I've ever used in the soft bait category. Storm if your reading this, please produce this bait in a 9" version, our Bar Rayes are much bigger up here and need at least 9" if not 11" GT360's! Being not only a guide for 10 years but a Striper addict for 40 years, this lure is totally fun to swim specially because we deal with flats, grass, stumps, channels, points, etc in and around the estuaries, furthermore I can show complete novices how to fish it in just a few minutes and they're onto Stripers, how fun is that!

From: Unknown: Aspen, CO 7/8/19

Comments: Amazing durability! Caught 20 fish on it before i had to switch out the body. 10/10

From: Unknown 5/19/19

Comments: Works good for snook too! caught a 20 pounder on 4.5 smoking ghost

From: Anthony - Florida 1/13/19

Comments: Nice lures. Work very well when you gotta slow it down. From all the other reviews talking about how well their Keitechs or whatever work, it almost makes you wonder why they had to even try out another paddletail style since it was apparently fish on on every cast. If you use these slow to do what they tell you and search out the fish, you can then start adjusting to have an awesome day. Fishing from a bank or boat, that helps.

From: Unknown 6/16/18

Comments: Bought these thinking they would be nice for the kids to just cast and reel in, but I ended up trying them first and cannot believe the results I had.  I have throw swimbaits before but the action these have drive the bass crazy.  Was using the 3.5" and can cast them a mile on spinning gear.  Plastic held up way longer than I expected.  I super glued the second body I used to the head and lasted 5x longer.  Excited to have the kids and the wife use them to get them on some bass.  Will be buying more.

From: Ryan: Wisconsin 5/29/18

Comments: I seen these baits at a local gas station on the way to the lake. I have never used a swim bait before and decided to just buy a pack for some reason if I decide to tie one on because nothing else was working. Well today was one of them days I could not buy a bite and I reached to bottom of my tackle bag and tied one on. In 5 minutes after using it I caught a 22 inch largemouth that weighed 6.2. I continue using it for the last 4 hours of the tournament. I had no fish in the livwell before using it and after 4 hours I weighed in 14.8 pounds in a local club tournament. I have never used another swim bait so I don't know how much better these really are but I am hooked now. I stopped back at the local bait shop and bought 10 packs at 7.50 a piece. So you can say I am a believer now.

From: Basscat - Caverun Lake 5/6/18

Comments: I was not that impressed with these baits the lure does not sink very well because of the light head it does swim good but, I feel like you have to fish it on a ultra light rod in order to fish this bait effectively.

From: Brendon: Atascadero 5/1/18

Comments: I went fishing for the past two weeks at the lake I fish every fall must be a good bait because it was the only lure I used and caught mote fish then I ever had in the past 11 years at this lake.

From: Gary: PA 10/16/17

Comments: They catch fish but have 3 negatives...first they are pretty expensive for one jighead with 3 bodies. ...second if you hit the jighead off rocks it can break off since it's just plastic to house the rattle....lastly they are light for the size they are due to the head not being all lead...I think freedom Hydra heads with keitchs are a better way to go.

From: Jim: Ontario Canada 8/5/17

Comments: The big advantage with these baits that seems to be lost in all the reviews, is that this bait is perfectly engineered to work with the head/hook. The bait rigs straight and runs true with an enticing shimmy and plenty of tail thump. It also falls with a nice tail thump. Despite what others indicate, the hook is very sharp and sturdy. On one of my first trips out with this lure, I landed a 7 lb. carp on braid. The hook shows no sign of flex. In 40 plus years of bass fishing, I can count on one hand how many carp I have actually caught( not snagged) on artificial lures. If it will fool the discriminating Mr. Carp, it has the realistic look and action to fool any game fish. After using almost every brand of swimbait on a wide variety of head options, I can say this bait is impressive!

From: Unknown 8/5/17

Comments: Used this today and all I can say is WOW!!!! Caught 2 nice pickerel. 3 pounders. They hit it like a freight train!!!

From: Unknown 8/1/17

Comments: I submitted a review earlier in the year after their release.  I picked up a 4 packs at Cabelas for $5 each and used them primarily for shoreline walleye fishing in May on light gear.  $5 isnt going to break my bank, but seems high for 1 head and 3 plastic bodies.  I did catch several fish on them, but then I would have caught the same fish on a Keitech Easy Shiner with a Picasso Smartmouth jighead too. I thought the plastic body held up well for multiple fish, and I didnt have any issues with the hooks bending or breaking.  The problem I have is that I lost the rigged unit from each pack and now have 8 bodies and no heads.  Can I use another type jighead?  Sure.   I dont think the rattle in the 360 jighead makes any difference anyways. It just completes the set.   Theres barely any sound in the 1/8oz head when you shake it next to your ear, so I doubt it makes any sound in the water when its swimming along in the water.  Maybe if you bounce it on the bottom?
Knowing now that Storm plans to sell jigheads seperately, I will buy more to replace the ones I lost.  I will use them for walleye or smallie fishing on a 7' medium action with 8lb test line. I would not choose this swim bait for tournament bass fishing with a heavy rod or braided line.  looking back at its release in the Spring,  I still  think Storm made and marketed this bait towards the novice and weekend angler who picks up most of their gear at the "big box" retail stores.  Guys that typically don't buy the better quality baits from Tackle Warehouse.

From: Unknown 8/1/17

Comments: This bait is amazing. Caught 2 pike over 30 Inches in the first 10 minutes of using it. The fish cant resist this bait. I will be buying many more of these in thr future.

From: Unknown 7/19/17

Comments: I don't know what these other guys are talking about because I've used it for the past 3 days and holy smokes this bait is fire!!! I smoked a 5 pound lmb no problem and I also caught 4 pike which were over 33 inches no problem bringing them in although the last pike which was 37 inches bent the hook a little but it's worth every penny I'll definitely be stocking up on this lure it's so good it's crazy casts a mile too I'm extremely happy with this lure great job storm:)!!!.

From: Chris: walled lake MI 5/27/17

Comments: I kind of bought these on a whim yesterday ended up using them after a 35 degree temp drop and killed them slow rolling. After 22 bass and eyes the tail is starting to show wear. Very durable, I am impressed!

From: Herman: WI 5/19/17

Comments: Storm did a great job with this little swim bait. I've been casting shallow rocks at nite for walleye and have caught everything  crappie, walleye, pike and some giant smallies

From: Wilbur: WI 5/14/17

Comments: Fished the 3-1/2" this last weekend and caught 6 fish in about an hour. I'll take those kind of numbers any day. If the Bass like it, I like it. I will be buying more and will also buy the extra jig heads when they're available

From: Chris - Orange County, CA 5/12/17

Comments: For those of you troubled by only one jighead in the pack of three, Rapala has told to me that it will sell extra jigheads in July.  Why they are waiting so long for a "hot bait" jighead when customers are chomping at the bit to fish in the Spring is beyond me. I'll just have to be careful until then :-}

From: Claudius: Crofton, Md, USA 5/6/17

Comments: Great bait but not worth the money for ONE jig head.  I wont buy another one until Storm sells extra jig heads...\

From: Jon: Columbus, IN 5/4/17

Comments: The reviews indicate that there are lots of mixed opinions on this bait.  I think most of those differences could be resolved with a little reflection.  First, is this three baits or one and is it too expensive if it is one?  I have no problem with what is provided for the price.  The plastic body is tough and will last through many fish so I have no problem with price but some might.  I don't really get anything from someone else talking about their finances. Action.  It has a tight wobble with a rattle--not as much wobble as some swimbaits.  It this a problem.  No.  We use cranks with tight and wide wobbles depending on water temp.  Both actions are good depending on that.  The same is true with this bait.  Use it in cooler water.  No, it doesn't shake your hand off but most good swimbaits don't and shouldn't.  This is not a spinnerbait or a crankbait.  Have faith in he action.  That's how swimbaits work, even the big ones.

From: dhewes: Apple Valley, MN 5/1/17

Comments: Great baits! These aren't that bad as they are led on by others. It's $6. Big deal. Alot of other things you could blow $6 on. How do some get this bait stuck? You would purposely have to throw it into a tree. Action of the  tail is what makes the bass hit, and when they do...Hold on!

From: Elias; Pa 4/28/17

Comments: A good swimbait but has its downfalls. The bait has more of a roll or shimmy rather than a swimming action, but still is effective at catching fish. Good color selection and seems fairly durable compared to a keitech. The biggest issue I have with this bait is that it only comes with one jig head, and 2 extra swimbait bodies. The bodies are specifically molded to the shape of the head, so If you loose the included jig head then you are basically screwed, because the body won't really work on other jig heads. I also don't believe that storm sells extra jigheads for this bait. I do like the rattles in the jigheads, however I'm not crazy about having a plastic jighead. Overall it catches fish, but is not very versatile or practical. Personally I think I'd rather spend the extra dollar for a package of Keitechs that are a little less durable, but come with more baits in a pack, are more versatile, and are much more tested as a staple in any anglers tackle box.

From: Steve: Plattsburgh, NY 4/26/17

Comments: I was very skeptical about this bait but I guess I watched enough YouTube videos to leave an impression. I typically do not fish swim baits so this was a whole new world to me. I ordered numerous patterns in the 3.8" version and was pretty impressed when they arrived. I took them out on a pond that first weekend and was instantly hooked on them. Not only did I catch Bass; I caught a lot of Bass. The action on these is awesome; the tail kicks real well but the bait wobbles back and forth quite a bit as well. It almost reminds me of the searching action of a 2.5 square bill. The durability of the plastic is great; after many bass there's not a single mark on the bait let along any type of tears etc. I had numerous bluegills hit the bait too but they were not able to tear off the paddle tail. I just ordered 6 more packs of these; it's time to start stocking up now. I did snag one of the baits and lost it so I have two tails left in that color but no heads any longer so when they start
offering the replacement heads that will certainly be a good thing.

From: PaBassMan13: PA 4/25/17

Comments: I think this is deceptive advertising. The description says you get 3 of these. The picture shows 1 bait. But you really only get 1 bait with 2 extra plastics. Bunch of crap if you ask me for the money these cost. It says its a 3 pack. You should get 3 heads and 3 plastics! I won't be buying anything from Storm in the future if they keep up this garbage. Also, the swimbaits aren't anything special at all!

From: Seth: Drums, Pa 4/21/17

Comments: only comes with one head and you can't buy the heads individually, so you lose one your kind of screwed if you want the same setup I wouldn't buy these again

From: Unknown 4/18/17

Comments: I've been using this bait and it will catch fish but the hook catches on everything that it touches.  The Yum pulse swimbait with the hook rigged weedless is much better.

From: Unknown, 4/16/17

Comments: Thumbs down, fished the 1/4 oz 4.5" for a few minutes and the hook snapped at the tip, after only two fish! Waste of money in my opinion!

From: Jeezy 4/16/17

Comments: It catches fish, but it's more of a shimmy than a swim. I think it has a similar tail action to the Yum Money Minnow; not a lot of kicking, but a lot of shaking. The Keitechs, RI Skinny Dipper, and Missile Baits Shockwaves are the swimbaits I would suggest for a boottail "wide-kicking action" style technique such as the A-Rig, Underspin, Swimjig, Chatterbait, etc. This is more of a super slowrolling bait for the winter/early spring or something to shake on a bed because of the rattles inside the head. I would get a few because of their insane durability, but I could tell it would be a below average bait as soon as Storm started advertising for it as much as they did. To recap, if you need a finesse/slowrolling bait...buy it. If you want a wide-kicking action...don't buy it.

From: Nick: Wisconsin 4/15/17

Comments: This bait sort of shakes more than it swims.  The boot tail doesn't kick, it twists more and resets which causes the bait shake in more of an inline pattern.   You have to reel it slow to get that action though.  I would call it a finesse swimbait more than anything.  It should work, but I am gonna stick with my Damiki Anchovie Shad on a Damiki Pandla jighead if I need a finesse bait.  Cut the price in half and improve the hook and I think they will sell millions of them.

From: Matt - Broken Arrow, OK 4/12/17

Comments: I agree with Mike and others. I'm not buying it because doesn't look that great for one, secondly I prefer Keitec and Rage swimmer myself. Looks like marketing gimic to say that STORM has a swimbait. I wont say it wont catch a fish here or there, but cant compete with Keitec action !

From: Mike: GA 4/11/17

Comments: Apparently Storm thinks this bait different because its a 360- so you can throw it ANYWHERE- and apparently you can't do that with a Keitech!! Sigh....It's sad that Storm thinks they're going to fool us into thinking these are different or BETTER then anything out there. All they did is stick a jighead with eyeballs on there. These are worse quality all around then any other swimbait out there.

From: Tom: MN 4/11/17

Comments: Not sure who would actually use this bait.  Possibly, someone who has never used a swimbait of any type; or maybe a fisherman that has lost his confidence in every other swimbait he owns.  For me that would include Keitechs, some Bass Pro Keitech imitators, maybe even a Basstrix here and there.  Hopefully you see my point; go with what you know and have experience with unless you've totally given up on every other swimbait out there because that's exactly what the 360 is....just another swimbait.

From: Mike: Aurora 4/7/17

Comments: This bait is nothing special save your $ and buy something else just another marketing gimmick. A terrible value. Only 3 baits in a pack and the hooks suck.

From: Clay D: Duluth, MN 4/5/17

Comments: Nothing special.  Just a lot of hype and marketing.  It catches fish as well as any other swimbait.  Makes zero sense to pay $5-6 for three swimbaits, when you can pay $3-4 for five swing shads.

From: Jimbo Fisher Tallahassee, FL 3/29/17

Comments: These baits are great.  The head design with the rattle really makes this unique.  I used this last week and got my very first win.  I would recommend these to anyone.

From: Ernest Corinth 3/29/17

Comments: I agree with Clay.  As if there aren't any swim baits or paddle tails already on the market and now these are the solution to catch every fish on the lake.   I'm almost insulted by the fact they try to make me believe that its more than a lead head jig with a paddle tail.   Storm has made soft plastic paddle tail baits for years, but these are special!   I cant wait to see how these play out.

Comments: Really nothing spectacular about these. A lot of hype around these because they're new and pros are claiming they won a tourney on them. But honestly, nothing any different from any other decent quality soft-plastic swimbaits.

Comments: Works good, the rattle is a nice feature at the price point. Overall nothing really wows on this bait.

Comments: I have a pack of these that were given to me - OK.  I alike them, but I am struggling with what is uniquqe about this bait.  Seems like it catches fish in the same situation as the other 39000 swimbaits just like it do.  Seems like just another swim-bait to me.  I am starting to go dizzy trying to keep track of them.
