Comments: I see a lot of people on here complaining about poor hookup ratios on this frog and here is my take. Been fishing with it consistently for over a year. Little tricky to cast at first on a proper frogging rod, but you'll get the hang of it. I run a powell max 735 mag rod with 50lb pline TCB. Thing is a broomstick, but I never loose frog fish on it. Maybe that's my difference? I don't know. I love this frog. Catches all fish. Especially in high pressure situations. No issues for me with hook ups. Durability is okay I'd say. Going strong at around 50 fish on 1 frog and it still floats and catches fish. It's the only frog I consistently get bit on in open water. The original and baby are some of my favorites now. I routinely get on a frog bite with this that no one else does in out tourneys. GP white belly is my favorite.

Comments: Strike king needs to figure out their plastics on these frogs. Perfect size frog for pressure lakes but hook up ratio is horrible. Even hooked fish gets off due to the horrible space between the hook and frog body. After a few strikes, this frog becomes sub surface. Unbelievable poor product by strike King.

Comments: Great small frog. Our lakes get a lot of pressure so small frogs really do damage and not just dinks. If you need a small frog these hold up very well.

Comments: Terrible terrible frog. Should not be on the market. Unless you love drop shotting and want to fish with the same tackle to use this frog then this frog is for you dudes that love catching dinks. Frog fishing is power fishing and you arent going to be able to use your normal frog setups with this terrible frog. Its frustrating when an awesome company like strike king and many many other amazing tackle companies put a product out like this to consumers. They are better then this. But they all have lures that catch fishermen and not fish. And in the participation trophy era and/or finesse fishing era, their will be plenty of youngsters waste their money on this.

Comments: I picked up a couple of these, because I like throwing the original KVD sexy frog. The body material is much more rigid than it's big brother, making it very difficult for fish to get a hook. You could bend out the hooks a bit, but that sacrifices the weedlessness of the lure. Good looking lure, walks well, gets bit, but hook up ratio is terrible.

Comments: This frog is tiny! I ordered it thinking it would be similar to a R2S Bully Wa 55 and it's smaller than that for comparison. I will definitely try it this summer but the problem lies with the hooks, the frog only presses down about 1/8" below the hooks which doesn't give me a whole lot of confidence swinging back to set the hooks. Strike King may have to go back to the drawing board on this one. To be fair, I hope I'm wrong about this lure when I get a chance to use it this summer, but know what you're getting if you're thinking about getting this true baby of a frog.
