The all-new Strike King KVD 1.5 Hard Knock utilizes the same proven size and shape as the original, but now with a hawg-calling Hard Knock rattle system. They Work!Of all the baits in my box when nothing else works, these baits pull through, there has been multiple occasions where I go to a spot that I know there's fish at, and the fish are not biting anything else, then I tie on a KVD 1.5 squarebill, and somehow someway they pull through. Highly recommend.
Great LureThese little 1.5 crankbaits are awesome to fish with. They are incredibly easy to cast with a baitcaster, run straight and at the advertised depth. I own several of them.
Still a great squarebillThese are a great squarebill and other than the Lucky Craft 1.5 they are kind of the gold standard in fish catching squarebills at a this price. This one has a nice knock when you are looking for something that make a little bit of noise. This bait cast well, comes through cover well, and has a great selection of colors. You will never go wrong with one of these.
Old reliableVery reliable Squarebill when thats what they're wanting. Deflects majority of cover/structure fairly well.

It works where I fish.I fish a lot of stained to muddy water where I live so naturally I do a lot of shallow water fishing.
It’s next to impossible to find a solid white square bill but the KVD 1.5 Oyster color comes pretty close. Fishing the almost white hard knock in water with less than a foot of visibility really pays off for me.

Go To Bait!Tied the "real shad" on and never take it off. This 1.5 has changed my perception on cranking. Love this bait. Always gets bit. SK is excellent value for great baits!
Never leave home without itNot much write as most know these are incredibly reliable, durable and the paint jobs are on point. I keep a hard knock version an a silent in my box. Oyster color is a must as is perch and crawfish. Cast like a dream and perfect size for multiple species.
Strike King 1.5 Square bill hard knockI was catching bass on it in a tournament last year and with only a few minutes to go I lost it in a brush pile so I just snapped it off and tied on my backup that's why I ordered another one, always have to have a backup of that lure.
Great slow action.This bait really rattles even with a slow retrieve. I caught several bass using a slow stop and sleight jerk retrieve. I also did great using a alternating slow and fast retrieve. It floats well and can even be used as a twitch bait on the surface. I recommend this crank bait.

Strike king kvd 1.5 squarbillBest squarbill on the market, I fish the athaflaya basin and Toledo bend, when it’s pre spawn this is the bait I’m throwing it deflects off cover like a breeze.
High qualityVery high quality all around. Hook, paint, action, etc all for a good price. I will definitely be getting more in both hard knock and silent models.
Best on the marketThis squarebill seems to run true straight out of the box and it just flat catches fish! They seem to hold up well also after several catches. I keep several in the boat at all times.
Fun to use.I like throwing these Strike King crank baits on my Evergreen 7' 1" medium rod, which was ordered from TW, I can feel the bait very well, and it tracks straight right out of the package. I just use the basic Palomar knot, which I have never had any problems with.
One of the Best Crank Baits out there!This crank bait is popular for a reason; it Catches Bass of all sizes all year down here in Florida.. Not overly detailed yet the color schemes seem to work in all waters. It’s priced well not breaking the bank if you get it hung up and have to retire it to a piece of driftwood. Highly recommend lure.

Comments: Best darn natural shad bait imitation I have ever seen. I catch a lot of fish on this bait. I have thrown it everywhere (Lake Ontario, Finger Lakes, and St. Lawrence River) in New York State. It is more deadly in late August and September. This bait is exactly how natural shad look. Wobble is killer and the bass love it. Swim it fast then slow, then fast again. Throw it anywhere. Obviously, the big hook can catch a lot of weeds.

Comments: Hands down my go to bait. I love moving fast down a rock bank or even a tree line bank to find fish. I have caught more fish this way than any other bait out there. People ask, can the 1.5 square bill catch big fish. Well of course it can but when I'm fishing a tournament I want to put 5 fish in the boat fast. And this bait has always seem to come through. You can bet that I have this bait tied on year round.

Comments: What can I say, really? Its my go to bait. I have almost all thr colors and backups of the primary ones. Its the first, and the last bait I throw. The hard nock baits are tough, rarely need tuning out of the package and fish chomp em. I've had good luck running the hooks they come with (at least for a while). Great color options, and "they just get work done". I run these on a 6'6" st croix glass cranking rod and an abu garcia revo sx 6 speed and wither 12 or 15lb flouro (usually 12).

Comments: I use this on the Ca. Delta (craw color) and it's one of my favorites. I've had a lot success with it. Great for running levee banks and dragging island points/In-between sparse tule clumps. I do upgrade the hooks though. Caught a 8 lbs 9 oz largemouth Sept 2021. So yes! Big fish do hit this little lure.

Comments: I have not tried this yet, but I know it is going to produce big results. I started trolling the Erie Canal with 1.0's in multiple colors and crush on them with every species you can imagine. Liking them so much, I bought the 4.0's and do very well on Pike and large mouth with them. I truly don't believe you can go wrong with any of the Strike King KVD square bills. Looking to target Smallmouth with this one, but I know it too will catch a variety of fish.
