Overview
A larger version of the Swimbait Republic Glideway 176, the Swimbait Republic Glideway 236 Glide Bait delivers the same action as its smaller brother in a size that caters to bigger fish. Designed to perform flawlessly at any speed or style of retrieve, the Glideway 236 showcases a stable and balanced posture on the pause. Right out of the package, the Glideway 236 slowly floats and swims at the surface, allowing it to be fished in super shallow water with ease.
Featuring two weight cavities on the belly to hold the weighted lead stickers, this versatile glide bait allows anglers to adjust the bait's sink rate while out on the water. Adding one lead sticker changes the Glideway 236 to a suspending bait that can be fished just below the surface, and using both stickers enables slow-sinking action that allows the Glideway to be fished down to 10-12ft depths.
Designed to create improved side-sliding action that allows it to glide 4ft out to the side, the Glideway 236 exhibits an ultra-wide gliding presentation that's unique to the 236 size. Equipped with sticky-sharp BKK Fangs treble hooks for an excellent hooking performance with big game, the Swimbait Republic Glideway 236 Glide Bait is an excellent choice for targeting trophy bass, muskie, pike, and various other large predatory fish.
