Comments: Great design and works great for a while. However, the plastic piece that the clamps attach to flex and break. The plastic piece should be aluminum for rigidity and longer life. I've had 2 and will not buy another. Great idea but comes up short to keep cost down.

Comments: I have a Power Drive V2. The grass goat gets in the way of the lock when stowing the trolling motor away so you need to take off the grass goat when traveling.

Comments: Used the grass-goat on Lake Okeechobee for the last 4 days and it really works. If you fish where there is vegetation then it is a must have. Not one time did the prop get fouled! A product that actually does what they claim. My trolling motor will not be without one

Comments: Simple and highly effective. I installed one of these earlier in 2017. I often fish in pads and other types of thick vegetation on a tidal river. Where I used to regularly pull the motor up to clean the prop I now rarely pull up the motor on any given day to clean it. The grass goat simply cuts through the vegetation and leaves the prop area essentially clear. I usually just turn the motor in the opposite direction briefly to clear the vegetation that collects on the shaft above the motor, then back to fishing.

Comments: I didn't know what I was missing until a fellow fisherman recommended the grass goat. I bought it strictly off his positive feedback and has been nothing short of awesome. No longer do I have to keep looking out for the grass beds in south Louisiana to steer around. I can focus totally on the next cast and the goat chews up anything I happen to run into. I keep my fortrexx set on 40 and it goes through no problem most cases.
