The best neoprene rod sleeves madeI have tried every brand of neoprene rod sleeves and I believe these are the best quality for money product made on the market. The thickness is excellent & enough to really protect guides and blanks. The quality of stitching has been outstanding so far. I fly with all my offshore rods (7’-8’3”) five to six times per year and I trust these to protect my rods in a Plano travel tube, from the TSA removing every time I check in, the airline baggage handlers and the jostling in the case. They have been on six trips thus far, with connecting flights on every trip, including flying to Cedros Island and they have performed exceptionally well. Highly recommend both the spinning and casting models. Note: only get the spinning model for saltwater offshore conventional rods to clear the larger bottom guides.

Good rod sleeveNo problem with it at all fits perfect for my 7 foot rod have had no issues with this at all. And same with the casting rod sleeves are amazing will be buying more.

Heavy for a rod sockSave yourself the money, buy plug jackets and keep the rod socks you already have. These things are so heavy on the rod it feels like you will break the tip.

Comments: Ordered one of these because all 6th sense spinning covers were out of stock. I do have a 6th sense cover for my casting rod but i like this cover more, it is much thicker and heavier and goes further down on the rod. The dtrap is on the shorter side, will not reach the reel on my 7'1 rod but that's not an issue to me. Will definitely be buying more of these.

Comments: These aren't bad. Rods slide in and out easily. However can be quite short with the elastic strap. If these had the adjustable strap, they would go a long way for fitting rods. Just do not - use the rod handle strap if it puts a bend in your tip. You will snap your rod. I prefer 6th sense for the straps that adjust. But these will do since 6th sense is always out of stock.
