Comments: Do not order if your rod is 7' or more. I thing the description needs to be adjusted because there is no way on earth this will fit a 7 foot rod let alone a 8' rod. Other than that they are nice.

Comments: These are quite short and don't come close to fitting a 7'6" rod.

Comments: It's not a bad rod sleeve, it does what it's supposed to do, protect the rod eyes. But the elastic band can barely reach my reel on my 7' rod let alone my 7'6" rod that I bought it for. A rubber band or some string will fix the issue, just thought I should let anyone buying this know the problem with this item.

Comments: I agree the elastic band is not long enough for a 7 foot rod. I just took a heavy duty rubber band and looped through to extend the strap. Works fine. You may have to replace the rubber band after about a year.

Comments: The rod sleeves are good quality meshed material however, I ordered mine with a 7'1 medium heavy rod, the when used the strap puts a little bit more pressure on the tip than I am comfortable with. Would work better with smaller rods. Still protects all the eyelets good though.

Comments: I agree with the review below. The casting sleeves are fine but the spinning sleeves are too short. The spinning sleeve barely fits on my 6'9" drop shot rod. I'm afraid to use the stretchy strap because it puts extra pressure on the rod tip. I would not recommend the spinning rod sleeve for anything longer than 6'6".

Comments: All my rods are 7'. I already owned one of these for my casting rod and I love it. So I ordered enough for all my casting and spinning rods. In my opinion it is about 6" too short to properly protect a 7' spinning rod. Description states it will fit up to 8' rods. I do not recommend it unless you plan to use it on a 6' 6" spinning rod. I will probably return the spinning rod sleeves, but keep the casting rod sleeves.

Comments: Got 2 for free and after seeing what a true rod sleeve should look like I planned on replacing the cheap Amazon bought ones that I've been using where the tips poke through the top and the eyes come through the sleeve

Comments: It's ok. Maybe the one I got was a little defective but it gets caught up and snagged easily on the rod guides. I have some Rod Gloves and they are way better in my opinion.

Comments: I ordered one of these sleeves along with a 7' Savage Browser rod. The retention strap can't be used unless a bunch of pressure is put on the tip of the rod, so that's out. It fits fine on a 6'6" rod.
