Absolute turdOwned one of the previous versions of this bag, it was rock solid. This new version is literally falling apart three trips in. Ripped along the top seam connecting shoulder straps to top of bag. Not a good look, TW.

Not durableI went bank fishing with it and maybe hiked 2 miles to get to my spot and the part where the straps connect to the top part of the bag ripped. I only had 2 3700 boxes in the main compartment, my small terminal tackle box and a worm file with maybe 10 bags of soft plastics.

Bag ruined by redesignBought one of these several years ago and absolutely love it. It is the perfect size for my needs and built tough. Because I loved it so much I ordered another one last year (2024). The inside zipper pouches have been switched from the main section of the bag into the front pocket rending them useless. If you fill these zipper pouches you can't access them if you then fill the main pocket. Hard to believe that they took a top-selling backpack and then redesigned (ruined) it. *sigh*

I have hold 4 fishing rods with this thingThis backpack can hold 2 rods on each side (four total). I velcro the rods together. It's simply the best backpack i've ever used for fishing.

Not at big as I thoughtHave to say it’s a super nice bag and I bought it to put my 3 3700 bass mafia boxes in and they just won’t fit without almost breaking. The zipper and it won’t close all the way so I guess it will just be my bag for when I fish out of my buddy’s boat not as my main tackle bag

InsaneI bought this bag in 2018 I believe and I fish 4/5 days a week all year long in rain, snow, mud, hiking the niagara, boat trips, camping trips... you name it. I live in Ontario Canada the shipping was within a week. I was impressed and no issues along the way. I have a tendency to bring more than I need. I carry 2 3700 boxes of lures, one 3600 of terminal, a grocery bag full of plastics and still have room for drinks and snacks. No matter what you put in it or no matter where you take it, it will hold up again and again. I just swap boxes out for the species I'll be going after it even works for ice fishing. I've had the bag freeze to the ice before, lol, no damage from that. If you don't have this bag you need it I promise you will agree.

By far the best tackle bag under $100This tackle bag is definitely comparable to some that are in the $150 range. It’s huge, but very comfortable to carry. The material is very durable and holds its shape well. The pockets are very well thought out even down to a felt lining on the sunglasses pocket. To boot you can fit an additional 3700 box in the front pocket. They advertise that it hold 3 3700’s in the big opening and a 3600 in front but I got 4 3700’s in without any problems.

By far the BEST backpack availableI am writing this review after getting the last generation version 4 seasons ago... I actually put it into service 1st of Jan 2020. I took the bag fishing roughly 750 times and caught 3,333 fish out if it since. I cannot believe there's nothing wrong with it! I've bush whacked and trail hiked hundreds of miles with it. Aside from the bottom being worn through in a couple spots, I could easily sell it for $50 today. Insane product quality... don't mess with backpacks that are $100 more and made of inferior materials. I will say that I don't use the rod holders, I put 33.8 oz water bottles in there instead, gotta stay hydrated. I cut some of the straps off that I don't use. Planning on buying a new one to kickoff 2024 with... this old one has gotten wet so many times it stinks like pickerel blood and Christ only knows that else.

Comments: Got this bag for Christmas and couldn't wait for spring to take it fishing. I packed it with two 3700 size double sided boxes, a small 3500 series box for terminal and a bag for my plastics. This would constitute a normal load for a bank angler, I would think. Sadly, a seem under the top grab handle separated and the padded liner is now exposed. It seems the single stitching wasn't enough to handle the weight of the bag. Kinda sucks because it only made it three trips out before it broke.

Comments: This bag is an excellent bag, great size and plenty of room to store two 3700 boxs, along with a ton of plastics and swimbaits, a scale, and more. I used this rather heavily and normally it goes everywhere with me, on the bank, kayak and boat along with my Blakpak. However, the zipper on the main compartment separated from the bag on the top on both sides of the zipper.. I reached out to tacklewarehouse and they were unable to help me out as it was atleast 2.5 years old. Its still a good bag and I continue to use it until i find a replacement i just cant close the main compartment the whole way.. bummer
