Overview
A closely guarded secret among top tier professionals, hair jigs are responsible for a number of tournament victories throughout the years, but one in particular has earned a reputation that borders on legend – the Preacher Jig. Long out of production, the Preacher Jig is near impossible to find, which is why Talon Custom Lures has teamed up with BASS Elite Series angler and long time hair jig enthusiast, Pete Ponds, to create the Talon Custom Lures Pete Ponds Preacher Jig. An authentic re-creation of the original, the Talon Custom Lures Pete Ponds Preacher Jig uses the finest quality components and attention-to-detail to achieve the iconic hair jig action.
Hand-tied using longer, hard-to-find strands of 100% natural hair, the Talon Custom Lures Pete Ponds Preacher Jig is made extra-thick for a bulky appearance and a lifelike movement that can’t be achieved through cheaper materials. Built around a custom Shibui head, the Talon Custom Lures Pete Ponds Preacher Jig provides a seductive nose down posture, even when it is at rest on the bottom. Armed with a premium 90-degree black nickel hook, the Talon Custom Lures Pete Ponds Preacher Jig delivers a re-imagined version of the classic Preacher Jig, while still maintaining all of the tournament-winning attributes that gets fished fired up.

Comments: This Talon Custom Jig has some Awesome movement in the water, the hair they used makes it look like a minnow floating in the water ! Has a hook that is thin and sharp and gets the job done . I thought if Pete put his name on it it had to be good, I was not disappointed !

Comments: Great bait. Buyer beware this is both deer hair and synthetic. Description is a little misleading. the hook could be beefed up a bit but it's plenty fine and super sharp. Definitely a fish catcher. Colors are great.

Comments: Nice jig, very long bucktail! Hook needs improvement, too small and weak. With a bigger and stronger hook these would also be great for peacock bass.
