Overview
Utilizing the proven old-school characteristics that make lipless crankbaits so effective, the Thunderhawk Sergeant Lipless Silent incorporates upgraded technology, silent acoustics, and unique swimming action to enhance a timeless crankbait design. Built with a forward weight distribution, the Sergeant Lipless crankbait comes to rest on the bottom of the lake nose down, keeping the hooks exposed and preventing the lure from rolling over on its side. Improving your landing ratio with rotating hook hangars, large fish are no longer able to lock up the split rings and create enough leverage to throw the bait.
Both versions of the Thunderhawk Sergeant Lipless come in an identical shape and profile, however the silent model weighs 1/2oz and excels when fishing shallow or using parallel fishing presentations. Armed with custom size#4 wide gap treble hooks and premium split rings, anglers are afforded quality hook penetration and plenty of power to turn a fish back to the boat. Finished with 3D eyes, gill plates, and realistic scaling, the Thunderhawk Sergeant Lipless Silent is available in custom color patterns that make it truly one of the most innovative lipless crankbaits available today.

Comments: Silent lipless cranks seem to be a dying breed, so when I saw this offering I knew I had to try it out. I was a bit wary given Thunderhawk is a newer company, but I'm very pleased with the lure so far. Comes out of the box with short shank EWG trebles, no need to swap them out. Bait tracks true with a tight wobble, has a great shimmy action on the fall, and sits nose down on the bottom every single time. Paint is holding up well so far (gold/black), but time will tell. Rotating hook hangers are a nice added feature. I'll definitely be picking up some of the rattling versions to try as well. My only criticism is the split rings, but it's a pretty minor complaint. Swap them out with Owner Hyperwires and you're good to go.
