Transducer Shield and Saver FFS Beast Transducer Mounts
Overview
Providing a way to attach and rotate forward-facing sonar on the transom of your boat, the Transducer Shield and Saver FFS Beast Transducer Mounts are from high-quality aluminum alloy, coated with black cerakote to provide a robust shield against the elements. Featuring two rotating brackets held together with a 3/8 bolt and interlocking teeth that allow you to rotate your FFS in 10-degree increments, the FFS Beast Mount gives you the ability to track fish behavior and movement in real-time while identifying the surrounding environment with ease.
Face your sonar towards the desired direction to maximize your sonar’s capabilities, the FFS Beast even gives the co-angler an advantage of using FFS while fishing at the rear of the boat. Built to protect the transducer from any damage caused by any underwater objects, the Transducer Shield and Saver FFS Beast Transducer Mounts are constructed with a Spring Back Bracket mount that pivots up and over submerged objects and returns to the mounted position. Proudly made in the USA!
Note: to install the FFS-Beast on the transom, there must be approximately 12″ clearance from the Jack Plate in order to rotate the transducer – for example Skeeter ZX or Ranger 500 series are not a good candidate.
Note: a transom factory bracket is required to attach your forward-facing transducer and is not included with the FFS BEAST.
The FFS BEAST is pre-assembled with the following components:
- Backing Plate is 1/4” thick high-quality aluminum alloy and black powder coated. It has six pre-drilled holes to simplify installation of the FFS BEAST to the transom wall of your boat.
- Wedge is black polyethylene and designed to put the transducer at the correct angle when the boat is in the water.
- Stainless Steel Spring Back Bracket® (Pat. 9,361,873) with two double torsion springs. It will safeguard the transducer from submerged objects by pivoting up and automatically returning to normal position once force is released, which helps protect the transducer from underwater obstruction.
- Axle Assembling Tool which is threaded on one end and used to remove and reassemble the axle and spring, if necessary.
- Stainless Steel two prong Fork which is used to keep the SBB-5 top and bottom bracket together when disassembling and reassembling the axle and springs, if it becomes necessary to take the assembly apart.
