Overview

Renowned lure designer and inventor of the original umbrella rig, Andy Poss, released The Alabama Rig (TAR) to the public in 2010. When FLW tour pro Paul Elias caught over 100lbs of Lake Guntersville bass during a 4-day tournament using his rig exclusively, the Alabama Rig took the bass fishing world by storm. The True Bass Andy Poss Bladed Alabama Rig is a bladed version of his original 5- wire design concept that is responsible for countless tournament wins and proven to be highly successful throughout the Country.

Complete with a swiveling line tie that helps reduce line twist, each wire comes in at 4.5in in length and is equipped with a small willow blade that matches the color of lead head. Fitted with premium snaps and swivels, the rig comes with reliable hardware straight out of the packaging, and the blades spin freely even on a slow retrieve. The Alabama rig continues to be a valuable asset in your tackle box, so make sure you have a competitive edge with the True Bass Andy Poss Bladed Alabama Rig.

**Don't forget to check your State's fish and game rules and regulations - a fully rigged umbrella rig is illegal in some States.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Wires will come loose before you are done getting it ready to take to the lake. I wish they would solder them before they make the head. Super bummed. I used my pliers to make sure I did not cause any stress to the head. It has only happened to one of the two I opened, I bought 4x and now I don't trust any of them.

Comments: Tried to spread the wires out carefully but they became loose in the head before it made it the water. Haven't had that problem with similarly priced rigs.

Comments: I purchased one of these rigs a month or more ago and just used it last weekend, It's a very good looking rig and I caught several stripers on it, but I had trouble with the snaps popping open and losing my bait and jig head. This happened three times, and then I took the rig off and used my picasso rig instead. I did upgrade the snaps to swivels when I got home and haven't had an issue since, but if you do purchase this I highly recommend changing out the stock snaps.
