Comments: Fishing the saltwater marshes of the gulf coast, I'm always in search of 'foolproof' baits. There are a myriad of tail biting small fish that are professionals at nipping the tail off soft plastics......enter the hair jig! The VMC Moon Tail is a perfect incarnation of this old tried and true lure. The aspirin head with an oversized eye presents a large profile and casts very well. The hair skirt is on the sparse side and presents a good baitfish profile. Hook design is very good as well (though I am tempted to flatten the barb in the interest of minimizing harm to the fish). This one has become a regular in my on-the-water bait rotation.

Comments: I love these jigs! I've caught smallmouth on these from the Adirondack lakes of NY to Smith Mountain Lake in VA to the Susquehanna River in MD. I've also caught spotted bass, largemouth bass, and the occasional crappie on them from Lake Gaston in NC. I've had success with most colors, but black is my favorite for smallmouth, and white does best when imitating shad when fishing for spots and largemouths. Good quality hooks and nice finishes make this one of my favorite jigs.

Comments: Very versatile jig have caught lots of smallmouth walleye and occasional pike a good Clearwater jig cast very well in the wind older ones would lose and I newer ones seem to have a little better finish on them four out of five

Comments: These Jigs are great on suspended bass ... They have a lot of flair and the movement is quite fluid. Caught some really nice spots and smallies looking forward to the next time I can get out and test them on some largemouth. Get you some and have fun with them They definitely catch fish.
