LOVE THE ACTIONI have these in 2, 3, 4, and 5 size. I use them exclusively on texas rigs. I finesse fish a great deal, the fine wire is strong and penetrates well. The ring allows the bait to have more action not just on the fall (depending on bait) but while sitting on bottom in current.
Fine wire hooks require a more moderate action rod and a bit lighter line. I use 30# braid to a 8 or 10# fluorocarbon leader.

Comments: Bought these in 5/0 size for pitching soft plastic on flurocarbin not impressed with hook due to wire size being small diameter also hookup ratio very poor for me. Will not buy again
