Did the unexpectedLCS Small Mouth 4-26-2026, 58* water temp, cold 58*, wind NNE 8- 15 mph as the day went on. 3/8 Swing was the ticket for us. Ned rigged, green pumpkin variation.....

Works greatIts strange, I use them same bate Texas rigged and on a weedless Ned rigand nothing but it gets bit on this swinging Ned. Yeah the hook up ratio sucks but it gets bit.
New twist on a NED head…adds movementI did well on small mouth in northern WI. When you hop/stop the head the swinging action of the starts to add movement from the floating Ned bait of your choice. Overall great head. Just ordered 4 new packs.
Only works with the hook exposedThe way I saw this originally used during a preview was texas rigged / weedless. You can't do that with these tiny hooks. If you try to rig them in this manner (like you would with a flipping hook rig) there is just no gap for the plastic to move away and expose the hook when the fish take it.
It works fine with an exposed hook, but I really prefer to fish my ned's in cover, so this doesn't work for me. I will stick with the "Flatlands Tackle Swinging Weedless head". Those are fantastic and were out well before this head. I now have a bunch of these to give away...
Best ned head.This might very well be the best ned jig I’ve ever used. The hook is proven and works great for a Texas rig or just threaded onto the bait. Plus the swinging ability is great. Makes heavier ned heads easier to use because they stand up if the plastic can have any amount of buoyancy. The only thing I ask VMC is to make a Football version.
