Overview
Expanding on the wildly popular Tokyo Rig, the all-new VMC Tokyo Rig Finesse Neko Rig is a game-changing way to present your favorite finesse plastics and target finicky fish. Featuring premium components throughout, it starts with a 2.5” stainless steel dropper arm that is ready to accept your favorite weight and keep it secure. In addition to the stainless steel arm, the rig includes a one-piece solid ring connected to a premium rolling swivel that allows the bait to move freely with a natural flowing and undulating action, while also helping to prevent any line twist.
The forged hook includes a wide gap, long shank, and offset point to effectively accommodate most of your favorite soft plastics in a seamless presentation. To help maximize the life of your plastics VMC included an adjustable fluorocarbon keeper that securely holds your worms and other baits without damaging them. As effective as it is versatile, the VMC Tokyo Rig Finesse Neko Rig pairs with an endless range of finesse plastics and allows anglers to explore just as many types of terrain.
Note: Rig does not come with weight or baits.

Comments: I'm a big fan of the flippin and EWG ones since I fish a bunch of grass lakes and it's winter here in Illinois so this one is the ticket! I most every time pair any Tokyo rig with a zman plastic to truly keep it off the bottom, definitely a bit getter.

Comments: The vmc Tokyo rig is a good rig for pitching around docks in open water not as weedless as I thought it would be

Comments: great finesse set up for bed fishing, better than short drop shot leader cause it won't get tangled.

Comments: Finess Tokyo is awsome bait. It presents the bait so well. I've noticed on the other hooks the hooks are to heavy so it weighs the bait down and they don't float and have as much action. The finess makes it so the baits stick up float a little and looks awsome.

Comments: Cool rig. Quality components for LM and SM bass. Set up with two 1/16 oz tungston weights back to back to work mixed emerging weeds and rock in depths from 4 down to around 10 feet.

Comments: I bought the previous Tokyo rigs but found the hooks too big for up North. The finesse does make a big difference and it's more use the ball with the Plastics I use in the North.

Comments: It definitely works. I have used it for Largemouth rigged with Trick-Worms in my local lakes and caught them, then went fishing about 5 hours away in lakes with Smallies & caught them both rigged with worms & swim-baits.

Comments: Awesome little rig. It goes thru about anything and with the smaller baits it will get you more bites big and small. Works great.

Comments: VMC nailed this one... I've been using this particular rig since it first came out and man has it delivered-Spring, Summer and Fall !!! It truly doesn't matter what species of fish you're targeting (I'm a Smallmouth guy), Largemouths, Pike and Walleyes... Just use your favorite "Paddle tail" or "Boot tail" swimmers and simply match up the smaller size Baits, with the 1/0 Neko Hook and your larger soft swimmers with the 2/0 Hook. For me, the real trick was too purchase a few pkgs. of different Hook sizes and pre-rig one with a 1/4 oz. Tungsten weight, the other with a 3/8 oz. Tungsten weight (Grn.Pumk. or Blk. worm weights). for your 12' water or less... When I'm after those deep water, Summer time Smallmouths, from that 14' to 30' of water, I'll have a 1/2 oz. or a 3/4 oz. pre-rigged and ready too go... During the cold water periods-your slow and steady retrieves are best!

Comments: This will end up being another go-to rig for me other than a Ned Rig. I had the opportunity of using this at a private pond over Father's Day weekend and absolutely slayed the bass. I paired it with a Z-Man Big TRD and small tungsten weights and went to work. I highly recommend this rig to novice or experienced anglers. Put your favorite soft plastics on it and hold on tight

Comments: Nothing against VMC, this is a well made product. I just haven't had much success and I believe it's an issue with the distance between the hook and the weight.

Comments: When the fishing gets tough this is the rig to go to. It catches fish when the fishing pressure is tough!

Comments: Got put on to this by Gerald Swindle, and man it's a fantastic finesse bait for finicky bass. A great way to show some hyphen something that isnât a drop shot or a Texas rig, yet it captures the benefits of both. AN ABSOLUTELY must with these is the VMC slider weights. Once u switch for them you will never buy a different weight for your Tokyo rigs.

Comments: Use them for pike fishing in the weeds. Wish hook size 6/0 would be available too.
